A Tribute to the Best Thread in the World

Long time ago me and my brother Neel here,
we was hitchhikin' down a long and lonesome road.
All of a sudden, there shined a shiny Shinra... in the middle... of the road.
And he said:

"Post the best thread in the world, or I'll eat your soul." (soul)

Well me and Neel, we looked at each other,
and we each said... "Okay."

And we posted the first thing that came to our heads,
Just so happened to be,
The Best Thread in the World, it was The Best Thread in the World.

Look into my eyes and it's easy to see
One and one make two, two and one make three,
It was destiny.
Once every hundred-thousand years or so,
When the sun doth shine and the moon doth glow
And the grass doth grow...

Needless to say, the knight was stunned.
Whip-crack went his Whoopy tail,
And the knight was done.
He asked us: "(snort) Be you angels?"
And we said, "Nay. We are but brown."

This is not The Greatest Thread in the World, no.
This is just a tribute.

And the peculiar thing is this my friends:
the thread we post on that fateful night it didn't actually read

I don't think I've ever been involved in a thread I considered greatest thread ever. After a recent journey through the archives I found this (http://forums.eyesonff.com/showthread.php?t=76549&highlight=dragonswithhatsmadeofpinkfrosting), which I rather enjoyed. I don't know if it's the best thread ever but I did laugh quite a few times while I was reading it.
