We knew it was coming, but now we know it's *coming*.
If you didn't know, Namco (makers of Soul Calibur, Tekken, etc) and Bandai (Japan's EA: licensed games/toys/etc. out the wazoo, including Gundam, DBZ...) merged into one company at the beginning of January. Gamedaily asked if it be possible for Namco's fighting game developers to work on a future DBZ game, now that the companies were merged (Fuuuu....sion.....ha?). The Executive replied saying that would be ideal, but by time the companies merged they were already working on a new Tekken *and* a new Soul Calibur.
Full interview below (it's a DBZ game interview, the Soul Calibur thing was just a sort of passing comment).

This link goes into more speculative detail about Soul Calibur 4.
