Man I want whatever book/magazine this is! Anyways look at the pretty scan. There's a CG model of Arc an some screenshots I've never seen. Chibi Desh looks cute!

Er...well, he's the guy in blue at the bottom right of the page. I guess he doesn't look like his NES sprite, but he does look like his Amano art. *shrugs*

Judging by that scan with him holding a sword, it looks like he can join in battle

That'd be cool. (I'd wait before assuming that though...but here's hoping!) They'd all have some special ability to aid the party in some way... or something. :cat: :love:

Thanks for the link to the better image! Desh looks pretty cool, and it's nice that he can also fight together with the party during battles. Hopefully Princess Sara also gets to do something during battles, such as healing the party. :love:

Oh yeah, Dorga and Unne joining the party is something to look foward to. They'll probably be casting Meteo, Doomsday and other spells like that. :cool: Or maybe not... Elia will probably help you with healing spells and ice-elemental spells. I live in Europe, so it will probably take a long time until FFIII DS gets here. It will be costly for me to buy a DS and the game too.

Also, looking at that other scan it looks like the kids keep their jobs out of battle in cutscenes. Cool.

Ahem. Why is Desh wearing blue? I thought he wore red / purple / pink?... Oh, wait... yeah, actually he DOES wear blue, doesn't he?

Geez, the colour scheme on the original FFIII sure is psychadelic, isn't it?

Palette limitations on the Famicom forced the supporting characters to conform to the colors of their surroundings. Their DS versions will likely be faithful to the corresponding Amano artwork.

Thanks for that. That whole colour thing has REALLY been confusting me.
