I might be buying a PSP soon because of Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill Origins, Valkyrie Profile, and the Final Fantasy 7 spin off...

But how is the internet on the PSP?

Is it a fast speed or 56k type speed?
Is it reliable? Can you add favorite web sites and stuff?
Can i log into sites like these and makes posts or bid on ebay?

Thanks in advance. :)

It's as fast as whatever internet connection you're using. Be that the connection in your home or a 'wifi hotspot'.

You can add bookmarks and it's fairly reliable.

You can use forums and probably eBay (I havn't tried). The flash player (only available if you upgrade the software to version 2.7) is 2 versions behind the latest PC release so you may get some incompatabilty issues.

There are also some issues due to the relativly small resolution and screen size of the PSP, which is understandably smaller than a PC, causing some websites to be squashed. There is also no physical keyboard so inputting text can be a pain.

Yeah, ive used it a lot. Mine can even go into #eoff, but writing is a pain. My brother has mastered the PSP text entry :( He can almost type on it like you would on a PC

Ive made several posts on here using it to test forums.
