Well...
The first one made me cry.
But the second one made me happy. :)
So I'm gonna go with the KHII ending, even though they were both great.

I've seen KH2's ending, so unfortunately, that one's spoiled for me. It's still a very beautiful ending, though, and its impact will probably be bigger for me when I actually get to play the game all the way through. I think the the KH series has been very emotional with the endings, and so far they've been very well done. Both KH and KH CoM's endings made me cry. As for which ending is the best, I liked KH's sad ending a lot, but KH2's ending is... well, fulfilling, as someone said already. It completed what began in the first KH.

The second one has lots of hugging and rubbing together so I think I'll go with that.

I liked 1 better. I hate the fact that Sora ends up with a girl that wears so much pink. Not only that, if you watch carefully, it looks like Sora almost gets kissed by Goofy, & Donald's hand is close to a very inappropriate spot on Sora. I thought that the first one was sad, but promised for something more. I liked the part in that first one where Kairi finds Sora's addition to their old childhood drawing. As far as songs go though, I'd have to say kh2 tops the cake. :)

Ouch!

I think I might have to watch both endings a couple more times to figure this out.

Kingdom Hearts (I):

I loved the idea that Riku turned "good" at the last moment and Sora and Kairi was reunited until the sandy island took Kairi away. The First Ending was sad but obviously uncomplete, signaling KHII.
What made me cry the most was when Kairi saw the Pao-Pu (sp?) fruit in the Secret Cave. It was an easy way of saying that Sora loved Kairi without actually saying it to her.
All in all, the first one was better because it connected all the characters with hope to show another story.

Kingdom Hearts II:

First I gotta say that fighting with Riku in the end was phenomenal. How cool is it to save the world with your best friend, eh? The way Riku risked his life for Sora was classic. Riku was still kinda depressed on how he was always doomed in darkness, but what better than his best friend to cheer him up? Sora and Riku's friendship would be unbreakable after this.
I thought it was interesting how the "Door of Light" opened up just before Sora and Riku gave up hope on that beach. Then they zoomed to Destiny Islands like Superman! How sweet.. At first, I thought that Riku seemed lonely when Sora reunited with Donald and Goofy, but Mickey Mouse reunited with Riku so all was well. lol
The One thing that made me cry (again ><) was when Sora explored the Secret Cave and spotted the other Pao-Pu fruit that Kairi drew on the wall for Sora. It was like saying, "I love you too."
Back to the beginning. The only thing that bothered me in the KHII ending was Mickey Mouse's note. It partially gave a clue to the next objective in the story (KHIII) but I wanted to know what it said. That's why I liked the KH ending better. The KH ending didn't leave the audience saying, "What did it say?!" but "OOoh, I wonder what's going to happen next?" Now King Mickey's note is going to bother me until I know what it said!

Well, that's what I think.

I also cried during that Secret Cave moment in KH, it's so nice and subtle. KH2's similar scene is a nice tribute to the first part, and it works very well with the beautiful orchestral and choral music playing in the background.

It's a tough decision, but I'd have to say KHII. Both are very emotional, but I think it's harder to have a happy ending make the player cry than a sad ending, and judging from people's reactions, KHII did just that.

For me, I was torn between laughter and tears as I watched the second ending. That a game could make so much happiness bubble up in my chest...that's impressive. Not only that, but while the first game's ending had that blatant "the story's not over yet" vibe to it, the second ending was possibly even more impressive: the story could very well be over for these characters, and I wouldn't mind if it were. They truly earned their final happiness, and I think that makes all of us happy.

I opoved when In KH2 were they both hold hands and the puo-poi fruit is in the middle of there hands! Im a guy but....how romantic!

I have one question though.....do they end up together? cuse when they got the note from mickey, kairi and sora dont seem very lovey duvy withb each other

KHI was probably the best, simply becuase it brought out more emotion, and had a better way of leaving room for a sequel. Unllike KHII which I still think is great, but the whole note from mickey showing up just so they have an excuse to make a sequel is kinda cheesy.. Just think they could have left the opening for # III better

I thought the moment of the two holding hands with Kairi's lucky charm in the middle of their hands, among other things, made it quite clear that they ended up together. Sora and Kairi's relationship is quite subtle, but I think the three games still hint clearly enough that they love each other. Just like in FFIX, you don't need confessions of love or some big kissing scenes to show that some people got together.
