Yeah, I'm about to go into the Hades Paradox Cup, after some leveling up. This cup thing is the only thing left in my Jiminy's Journal thing-a-ma-jig.
Is this Hades Paradox Cup really difficult as my strategy guide says it is? Is the Trinity Limit strategy decent for the Jiminy Objective (15,000 points, me thinks)?
I know I probably should just try it but . . .
I dunno if I can save every ten rounds like the Hades Cup in Kingdom Hearts (I)
and
I like gathering all information and tips before a big event. I mean I don't want to start over after a long event like this in order to get that Jiminy Objective.
so... any thoughts, suggestions, information, or tips?

Yes, it is that difficult. You may start over at the tenth+1 round if you fail in between a transition point. So, if you die at round 35, you may start over from the 31st round. HOWEVER, your Jiminy Points are not recorded until you defeat Hades, which means you will need to start from any point, and survive until you defeat Hades to get it in the Jiminy Journal.
A good suggestion would be to not die. Accomplish this by taking full advantage of the "rules" of the rounds, which are identical to certain Cups. You also need the best equipment that you can obtain, such as Ultima Weapon, Strength, Defense, and Magic Ups.

Okay. Well, equipment is no problem.... heh
Do you think using Stitch or Peter Pan helps?

Peter Pan only. Stitch is terrible.

SNITCH. SNITCH helps so much!!! Especially during the "points" round... you have to go through 10 levels without losing all your points, and in Proud mode, this is ridiculously hard -_- Snitch keeps your MP up so you can keep Gravija-ing their asses and stuns them when you need to go attack. He also goo-guns enemy attacks =) If you have summon boost, Snitch will stay with you for ages.
Plus, Snitch is fun to watch =)
Oh, and for level 49, I found an easier way to beat Squall, Tifa, Cloud and Yuffie. They tend to cluster together in the middle a lot. You should have maxed out all your Drive Form abilities (glide, jump, etc) by then so this should be easy. Fly around the area in circles to avoid them while you're recovering MP/low on HP (Beware of Cloud, who will also run around in circles and attempt to hit you... but there is a pattern to this and it's quite easy to dodge). Once your MP is full again, go back to the center where they are clustered and clast Reflega to NO END. All of them end up pwning themselves this way, and it is SOOOOOO satisfying to watch. If you have an open shot, feel free to smash away at them, but remember, in Proud mode, none of your enemies EVER wait for you to finish an attack before they go after you, so you might get pwned from the back.

ooh, this is juicy stuff! *takes out notebook and jots info down*
I've used Stitch before, he is really helpful but sometimes just too long.
So Peter Pan can help really well too? How so, plze?

Peter Pan is better than Stitch, especially because he does MORE DAMAGE, and using his unique attack, you are essentially invincible and you can rack up points very quickly. Just alternate between the Triangle and the X buttons. Also, free healing for 5 HP. SWEET!
Gravity spells aren't even in KHII. And as for round 49, Trinity Limit + Berserk is better than anything else.

If you use Stitch against a large group of enemies (five or more), do his limit, use Ukulele (square) until the limit is almost done and then finish with triangle, you'll rack up a lot of points, more than with Peter Pan. You will do next to no damage, but you can easily get 1000+ points per limit this way, whereas I've never had Peter Pan give me more than 600ish. With a small group, Peter Pan will rack up more points and do good damage to the enemy. It just depends on if you want points or damage. For the point rounds, I abuse Genie's limit in his final form.

Oh really? So what's gravija for? =)
-_-
Gravity in Kingdom hearts during tournaments is SOOOO useful, especially when you're in a round with lots of scattered enemies. It grabs all those suckers and spins them in the air while damaging them so you can just jump up and pound away at them. I powered up my magic with magic boosts I made from synthesis moogles so whenever I use gravija on normal enemies, they die before they hit the ground.
And trust me, try reflega. Watch your enemies HP go down bar by bar without even getting hit and you'll get it.

It's for causing percentage damage to a heartless.....

In KINGDOM HEARTS 1
Tavrobel is right, there is no gravity spell in Kingdom Hearts 2. The spell you are referring to however is the Magnet spell (magnega not gravija). And you are right, it is very helpful. Especially in that round with the hundreds of rapid thrusters when you are being timed.

hm, well, I never used Peter Pan (btw, I finished all 50 rounds yesterday). Those were all pretty good tips. too late to use it now, lol.
i just used Stitch for the rounds until i got 15000 or more points, which is the Jiminy Objective. Then I concentrated on not dying. There was a point where I couldn't Summon anymore but thankfully I reached the objective by then.
I hated the part where Sora was all on his own. The only useful thing I could do was Trinity Limit (Beserk and Horizontal Slash was nice too. I kept pressing X and SQUARE on Cloud in Round 49 for 5 minutes.). Circling round the arena waiting for my MP to fill up got kinda boring. But I did it! Yay! Now I can finish the game and watch the secret movie in the ending.
but first, some chores.....

Very hard. Jimminy's objective is not hard to reach if you just keep summoning Stitch in rounds 10-20 and then fight through the rest of the matches.
The timed rounds are the hardest so Final Form is your best bet.
The last 10 rounds are terribly difficult so Trinity is your only hope and Hades is a sad sad man.
Don't know how relevant that was but meh.

Compared to the nine fights beforehand, round 50 Hades is a walk in the park.
