Okay I don't really count this as art at all because it's just people randomly photoshopping or ms painting, but feel free to move it. x x;

What is the deal with this crazy photoshopping noob trend thing? I'm a sheep, I follow, why did you do it, if you did?

Person #1 makes a sig thread. Person #2 sees sig thread. Person #2 makes a thread. Person #3 sees thread #1 and #2. Person #3 makes a thread. And so on and so forth.

People latch on to trends all the time. *shrugs*

The no-sig trend has yet to catch on. Too avant-garde I'm beginning to think.

but is the absence of a signature a signature itself?

If a signature is over the limit and Leeza is not around to see it, does it go unnoticed?

i check file sizes and pixels on sigs too, it's just that leeza tends to get most of them first.

If a signature is over the limit and Leeza is not around to see it, does it go unnoticed?i dont know but it would definitely make a sound. possibly the sound of 1 hand clapping

Sometimes I like using my art in signatures. These are generally the ones that people don't like as well.

Eventually the love will catch on and -omg- the sig was 179kb. @ @
Now it's just Kefka and a Rabite Pirate hat. =[

I don't think there's anything wrong with trends, it's just another form of flattery. Spiffing Cheese is my main inspiration. I love her style, so I've decided to pay hommage to her by copying her style.

As soon as a certain team go out of the World Cup in the Quarter Finals on penalties, I'm going to get in on this fantastic trend. It will be worth the wait to display my loyalty to Lord Kyon.

It really amuses me that the majority of people to respond to this thread so far are all CK's/Admi/old people... but anyways

I always push sig makers to their limits because i'm a massive fan of things i can't do, hence why i love hanging in the riddle threads - and getting the answers wrong ... repeatedly. I've never not had a sig, there's always been some text in it. Or a pig.

I've yet to notice a trend? D:

I just steal random images (Ads now. :D) that I like, or rarely make my own in MS Paint. But, now I can use Photoshop, so I'll be looking forward to that in the future.

Sometimes trends emerge merely through peer pressure, sometimes through general social movements. This, however, is a rare case where a trend exists solely on the strength of whatever it concerns - so many people have (And are getting more) Kyon sigs because he is one of Humanity's finest minds.

*shrug*

I think a lot of it has to do with people wanting a unique identity online. I don't see anything wrong with it really, I love making signitures, and it does show off a sense of art.

What the hell?

Yo, Blue, disable this crap. They can't not see the beautiful works of art in people's sigs, that's just not right.
