I know it is impossible to single out just one movie as your favourite, but there must be a particular movie that you regard as the movie of them all?

For me, it is probably "Blood Moon" from 2001. The movie is everything a good horror movie should be. Another favourite of mine is "Palmer's Pick-Up" from 1999. What a great road trip movie.

So, your all time favourite movie?

:)

It's Either Waynes World or Spinal Tap.

I cant decide between those two.

I think it'd probably have to be Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The movie has everything a great movie should have.

I'm not a big fan of movies, especially the highly commercial movies of today, but I have a few "older" favourites. Here is a list, in no particular order.

-Blade Runner
-Groundhog Day
-The Great Escape
-The Dirty Dozen
-The Goonies
-The 10th Kingdom (mini-series)
-The Matrix trilogy (despite the 3rd one being less good)
-The Naked Gun trilogy (I must have watched these 50 times!)
-Kung Pow (funniest movie ever)
-The Wallace and Grommit quadrology (exempting the very first one)
-Labyrinth
-Planes, Trains and Automobiles

The Neverending Story? Zeromus loves surreality. Hasn't watched the sequels though.

Four of a movie series is called a 'quartet'. Not a 'quadrilogy' *Scrubs self furiously*

My fave changes, but the strongest candidates would be as follows;

Blade Runner
Escape From New York
The Thing
The Abyss
Serenity
Kung-Fu Hustle
Walk The Line

I am strongly expecting to be adding Superman to that list in a couple of weeks.

Meat Puppet

The Warriors is currently my favourite movie of all time. I don't know if I will replace that for some time because I don't watch very many movies. My last favourite was probably Almost Famous.

The little kid in me wants to say A Nightmare on Elm Street but somehow all the horrible sequels seemed to detract from the original. Anyways, The Sandlot is by far my favorite movie of all time...so original...so funny...so qoutable.

I hate naming more than one movie in a thread that's just about one movie, but it really is hard to choose. :p

I'll just wuss out and name a few of my favorites: The Empire Strikes Back, Jerry Maguire, High Fidelity, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and The Big Sleep.
