it was weird... not the video but how the music seemed to fit in really good to the actual intro

Agreed. It did fit surprisingly well.

One of the most fitting sections:
"It never was, it never will be" playing as Sora finally reached Namine. It fitted perfectly with the events from Chain of Memories, when she revealed the fact that they had never actually met.
