How do I recruit Relm into my party? I rescued her from the Veldt cave and now she's just kind of like terri schiavo. She won't get out of bed. What do I have to do to get her in my party?

LOL, Teri Schiavo.

You have to go to Jidoor, to Owzer's and go through the stupid basement. It's a bit of a maze, but nothing too daunting. At the end of the basement, you'll see Owzer (who is really fat) laying there, and Relm will be painting a picture behind him. You gotta fight this stupid demon from the picture, and then you get an Esper (I think "Sraphim") and Relm joins up.

Shadow died so I found her in the Veldt cave. Is she still going to be in Jidoor regardless?

I hate to admit it, but this challenge is ridiculously boring.

I did make some progress. I smashed tritoch and the snow dragon and I'm on my way to get Umaro. I'll probably recruit Terra next, and then Locke. Then Gau, Relm, and finally strago.

So, I've officially recruited all of the remaining characters in the WoR and I am currently engaged in a battle with the White Dragon. All I have to do is sit here until he runs out of MP so I've left my game running and came here. As far as I can tell I'm pretty much ready to enter Kefkas tower and kill off this miserable challenge.

Bet you thought I quit for good, huh?

Sounds like you didn't enjoy this challenge quite as much as the FFVIII challenge.

Sounds like you didn't enjoy this challenge quite as much as the FFVIII challenge.I think that's due to the fact that after the horrendous sky battle I was just thrown on to the floating continent and got stuck there. I felt like I did all of that work with no reward at all, so it kind of put me off.

Oh, and would someone please explain to me why the Illumina is better than the Ragnarok?

Better stat increases, including +Evasion and +MEvasion, and an overall better attack power; however, Ragnarok consumes MP to Critical hit, and randomly casts Flare, so, for a challenge, I'm not quite sure which one you would favor (normal games for Illumina, definitely). I'd put my money on Ragnarok.

Somehow I died during the battle with magi master. I had just left the game sitting there for a few hours while I waited for his MP to run out and when I turned around I was dead. Dunno if I'll attempt that fight again or not, but does anyone know what may have caused that?

I also died fighting white dragon but beat him the second time and obtained the pearl lance.

He might have used Doom on all of them eventually, but I don't think he uses it very often, if he has it at all.

I know for certain he doesn't use Ultima until death.

He did use doom before, but gogo was the only one who was alive and it reflected off of him. I still have no idea what it is that killed me. I can't think of how I'd even use the gem box in this challenge, though.

You could either get an econimizer by stealing if from the Brachiasour for the Gembox Eco combo, or just get the Econimizer from the Colloseum with the Gem Box.

Do I even need the economizer though? It'd be useful for cure, I guess, but it doesn't seem even remotely close to vital.

There is a use for it, actually, since you can get Ultima with the Paladin Sheild.

That requires a lots of time, though. Since you'll have to kill 256 enemies, with the Cursed Sheild equipped, in order to get the Paladin Sheild. But yeah... it probably WILL be worth it though, as double-casting Ultima is pretty sweet, not to mention the Paladin Sheild is the best sheild in the game.

Edit: Oh crap! I forgot it was "natural" magic, not just "no esper". :p
