Final Fantasy VIII:Lion Legacy

Main Character:Greiver
Supporting characters:other GFs

Greiver was rid of his sin after being controlled by Ultimecia.He then set off on a quest with his fellow GFs to get PuPu to join them and then return to Squall and co. and defeat Hyne.

In the beginning... Rinoa dies. FF8-2 just can't have her in it. She's a fun-sucker.

The battle system would be different... you could switch characters like in FFX.

It would focus more on Selphie and Irvine, and Squall would have to get with Quistis.

Make Ellone a playable character and her weapon would be a big stick with a sharp blade. :eek:

New outfits, new looks. Squall would look... I guess kind of like Cloud from Advent Children... Quistis kind of... dominatrix... Selphie would wear a school girl uniform. Zell would wear a see-through shirt (like Barret's in Advent Children) and shiny pants. Irvine wouldn't really change that much. He stays a cowboy. He just gets a new cowboy outfit. :D Rinoa doesn't need a new outfit, cus she's dead. And Ellone... she would wear something like... a blue dress, spaghetti-strap, just below the knee. :D cute!

And I don't know what the storyline would be. But who needs a storyline!!!

I mean I heard X-2 sucked (I don't know). Advent Children was a good movie, but it could've done better for VII. VIII being my favorite I would be heartbroken if they made a chopped up sequal. Stick with the first.

1. The problem with Rinoa is that you have to save her constantly, which isn't fun.

2. Who said FFX-2 sucked? It sooooo does not. It's my second favorite game. It's really fun. If you don't know you must not have played it. I insist you do.

Probably. I hate a lot of people for weird reasons. And also, there is nothing to fix, complete or anything in FFVIII. If they tried a sequel it would end up hopelessly tied on. And a tied on sequel doesn't work, because in my book sequels are supposed to flow in from the previous story.

FFVIII-2 would be after the restoration of Trabia Garden. Also, Balamb garden would become evil, but nobody would know at first... Remember NORG? And his little egg hatched some time in disc 3? Yeah, well that mystery was never solved, so I'm gonna say some kind of other evil NORG descendant rose and secretly took over Balamb, Squall and Co are SeeDs of Balamb but they don't know it's evil, but hell it's their Garden so they have to go along with whatever orders they get, the whole system will get corrupt, all of the Balamb SeeDs will get lied to, the whole world will go into war (Even Esthar) and then the new young SeeDs of the restoring Trabia Garden will rise and fight, blah blah blah, junk junk, kill a sorceress for the hell of it, more story, blah blah, card playing, more blah, flashbacks, blah, Trabia SeeDs win, with a few deaths in their team.

FFX-2 is a waste of money, and it's probably the worst FF game i've ever played. I regret ever buying it and playing it. In fact, I even traded it in with a bunch of other games to get KH2. That's how bad I hated FFX-2.

The idea that there's nothing to fix or tie up in FF8 just seems strange to me; the world is left at a temporary point of happiness in a world that's about to see some major political turmoil. But, that's what fanfic is for, I think. Without some crazy monster instead of a realistic plotline, I doubt it'd be seen as game material, and I'd rather it wasn't.

Square-enix doesn't have the best track record in FF sequels and keeping canon.
