Yeah, so my mother is looking into starting her own webpage, and she's interested in having forums on it. So I've some questions. I told her she should definitely use vBulletin, because it's just infinitely better than that other company or whatever. Um, okay, so do you have to buy vBulletin for it not to have preset ads, or how does that work? Also, what are some pros and cons with it compared to the other popular forum... company things?

It will cost around $80 per year or $160 for an unlimited license. (in USD)

I would strongly suggest checking out www.phpbb.com or www.simplemachines.org forums first because they are free/open source and relatively powerful.
