I can't describe how happy this makes me. Now if they just bring back Arrested Development....

Take care all.

2008? That's far too long to wait.

Better 2008 than never, or the year 3000 even.

Take care all.

Futurama is pretty meh to me. I've never viewed it as anything other than mediocre. *shrug*

I heard that people are taking this announcement a little bit more seriously than the last because Katey Segal, the voice actress for Leela, mentioned something about it in a recent interview.

Everything's coming up Zoidberg!

Cool, I suppose. That's still a long time...although Animation takes a very long time to create.

I hope it'll be better than the recent Simpsons I haven't really cared for.

The phrase "best thing ever" is used rather a lot nowadays. But I think I can say with confidence that this really is the best thing ever. :D

OMG yes! Futurama was really, really good. Much better than both South Park and Family Guy. I can't wait to see new episodes. I just hope the quality will still stay high.

Futurama's cool. It's like the Simpsons with sex references.

I read about this earlier. It's probably the best reason for me to bother to survive for the next two years.

13 episodes isn't that much dont you think? But then again it did say a 'minimum' 13- episode run... I hope it goes on a lot longer.

I am super pumped for this. I just got all the boxsets for my birthday and have been watching futurama like there is no tomorrow these past few weeks. Last I heard they were doing 4 straight to DVD movies(easily doable in the world of futurama) but this is even better.

K whoever said Futurama is better then South Park and Family Guy, I really don't know what you're on. But to each his own right? I like Futurama, but it was never a piss my pants funny, more a "haha" funny.

Better writing and characters escape you.

Futurama was often piss-my-pants funny. More frequently than both Southpark and Family Guy. Like that episode when Fry meets God.

"I don't know if I did the right thing."
"Right and wrong are just words, the important thing is what you do."

and

"Do you know what I'll do before I do it?"
"Yes."
"And if I don't do it?"
"Then I don't know that."

That's hilarious.

Arrested Development was too smart and original to stay on the air, I'm surprised it lasted so long.

And much more important it's still funny and enjoyable after you've seen it several times before.

I saw this on the Adult Swim bumps and I was excited then, and being closer to 2008 with each day, why wouldn't I still be excited?

I only watch Futurama when theres nothing else on TV. I prefer South Park, Family Guy and really old Simpsons episodes.

Crappy voices! *hits drunkymonkey*
The voices were good, and more importantly, the characters were good enough to cover any failures on the voice actors' parts.

The plots made more sense instead of being dumb and random. And the crude animation was great :D
