Namco has been supporting Nintendo's Wii console pretty well, considering that the console hasn't been released.

At E3 Namco showcased the title Elebits, an adventure game where you explore locations in search of little electricity creating monsters.

Recently Namco made the announcement that two more titles were headed to the Wii. There were no details other than the designated titles "New Action Game" and "New RPG".

So there you have it. A "New Action Game" and a "New RPG" in the pipeline. Baten Kaitos III maybe?

Here's hoping for a Wii Tales game.

An RPG! YAY! :D

An Action Game! YAY! :D

I hope to see more info within 4 Weeks. :shifty: Otherwise I will bomb Namco with a dozen eggs.

Oh well. It's still good to know that Nintendo is getting good support from Namco. :p

Baten Kaitos III maybe?

It better be. That series needs more love. Sadly, I'm not so certain it'll happen. *sigh* It'll probably be a Tales game, which isn't bad, but still. xD

I saw a preview for Elebits. It seems very Katamari-ish, in both its graphical style and the peculiars of its gameplay. So I'm actually really looking forward to that one.

Wow, we've been asking for them for years now, but I still can't believe Namco is finally going to release the two most anticipated games of all time: "New Action Game" and "New RPG"!!

What great news (http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2002/12/16).

Nice, never thought Namco would betray Sony like that.

I assumed Namco was like a group of mercanaries myself.

Yes, any time a company makes a game for system 2 instead of system 1, they're betraying system 1. :rolleyes2

Looks like third parties are a ton of backstabbing bastards, then.

Or maybe Namco can use this time to make Namco X Capcom available outside of Japan. Make their reputation not suck so much.

How does their reputation suck? Or do you mean the game's reputation?

Their reputation went down the pooper the day they released SC3, that game was aweful. Also when they cancelled NxC.

SC3 Rocked man, what are you talking about.

He's probably talking about the lack of Weapon Master, Team Battle, the many glitches and the save bug. :(.
I wish my SC2 disc wasn't broken.

I dunno about games for the wii. I'm not the most active person in the world, and using that controller might break my back. :p

Don't worry. Mostly only wrist-movements are required. So far the only games that require you to swing your arms (as far as I know) are Wii Sports and Warioware. You'll break your wrist instead. ;)

I only missed Team Battles, thats one of my favorite modes in a fighting game.

But regardless, I'm hoping for a New original RPG and not a sequal. But thats just me.

save bug. :(.
Apparently, they'll replaced bugged copies with new, not-bugged ones.

Sucks for all those who shelled out for it at the release date, like me ;(.
Speaking of, I got first hand experience with it today. I had a backup on a different memory card though. I'm awesome like that.

If there's solid proof for them fixing the bug, I might get it on platinum if I get really bothered by it.
I should also go get SC2 on platinum. It's so good.

I was pissed with SC3 because they were proud they broadend their fanbase by releasing SC2 on all 3, Gamecube selling the most, then they made the next one PS2 exclusive. I'm sorry but not so smart. I think the second one is better anyways because they changed a lot of people's moves as well.
