Sig making help

well i don't honestly know where to put this thread so i put it here...made sense...any way

I just got photoshop the other day and i have been trying to make sigs but whenever i make them they are just too big in size...can someone tell me how to make them smaller please....thanks for the help

Do mean file size or canvas size?

For file size, I recommend to save them as .gif or .jpeg for online use.

For canvas size, go to File>New then in the box that opens choose a custom canvas size within the 550 x 250px limit.

You can also go to file>save for web and swap it to jpeg. It shrinks the file size more without losing as much quality.
