They explained the important stuff though.
They even showed the KH ending in KH2.

Yes... you always play the original... if you don't... then you... you need to. Because it explains it I guess. I dunno. :p

I can't even imagine enjoying the second game as much as I did having played the prior games.

:O

Yes!!! I just skipped chain of memories and I was confused! Anywho, it's all cleared up now, but I would at least read a little bit of the scripts.

It's also very helpful to be familiar with the Another Side, Another Story and Deep Dive videos, as well as the Final Mix fight with the Enigmatic Man.

Nothing wrong with it, I did it.
But I wouldn't recommend it

Yes, very weird. Why would you want to do that? Yes, part 2 does explain some of the happenings from part 1, but obviously not as well as part 1 does. That and it misses stuff.

I played KH1 and KH:CoM before playing KH2. Although I never beat Riku's story in CoM.

Ouch!

Although I never beat Riku's story in CoM.
You missed the only redeeming point of that entire game. D=

Really? How so?

Cool sig, btw.

Ouch!

It's just that Riku's story was infinitely better and more interesting than Sora's ever would be. I don't care what others may say, I was glad I didn't have to mess around trying to get a good deck of cards. Prebuilt decks for the win!

Yeah, that was one thing I liked better was not having to build a deck for Riku.

Kh1 is a must first because if you played kh2 then kh1 10 minutes in you would go to hard to control.

Nope. I did it, they explain everything you miss, and i played the first one after the second, so... :3

Exactly!

Well you should play the first Kingdom Hearts explains a lot ( like for instance how does Sora know Simba, a lion?).
Therefore Kingdom Hearts 2 would be less confusing.

It would be confusing, I would think. They make many refrences back to the first game, and I believe that it would simply be more enjoyable to play the first one first, because while the second hits the higlights of the first, it misses all the small, funny things about the game.

well, i finished first KH2.
I really didn't like games such as FF's, but two friends of mine are addicted, so I decided to play one, in order to see WHAT'S SO SPECIAL in that games.
I'll tell one thing only: From now on, I am more addicted than my friends.:)
