I looooooooooooooooooooooooove this game!!! It's my favorite :D
Maybe I started a topic on this already??? can't remember it...couldn't find any either.

When I got this game I got so addicted, I didn't play any other game for six months, not even FF!

I'm so mad they're not making a sequel after showing us that ending! :mad2:

I never picked it up because it looked like too 'simple' a game.
Simple graphics, storyline, and combat, etc.

It didnt look like anything special. :(

It was really fun, and there was a special ending you could get that obviously hinted towards a sequle. However, there were many flaws that stoped it from getting as much attention/popularity as it could have. First, It was release around the same time as games like Legend of Mana, and Chrono Cross. Second, its graphics were only decent, and had a "kiddy" look about them. Finally (which probably isn't that big a point, but was dissapointing to me) is the fact that it merely has about ten locations, all linked to the gate of one town. I had wanted a roamable world, like that of Secret of Mana. However, all and all, it's a good game.

Basically a go here get this, go there get that game. But if you're looking for a quick easy game to pass the time, here ya go.

I enjoyed it and it did make me mad with that secret ending and it had a very fustrating sidequest for Mint, but I can't play it anymore since the disc is scratched. Mint is better than Rue.

I liked this game :p Simple, but nice and relaxing to play if you can't be bothered to play one of the "heavier" RPGs :p


I prefered Rue's story, but Mint was more fun :DMint's had better dialogue too, and the magic was more interesting to use :p


I don't remember much of the ending, though I do remember after completing the game with both characters, there was some sort of New Game+ thing I played which gave you a better ending when you replayed with the other character :p

I did like this game, but I never finished it due to my modded PS1 breaking. Not sure if it got a PAL release. /sigh

Actuall if you play though another game after both characters you get to use Super Mint/Rue. Basically your stats stay the same as when you beat Valen.
