Ok umm.... i get really, really... CONFUSED!
In the really, really good graphics... or whatever you call it.... her eyes are green... but in the game.... OHH!! i dont know how to explain!!:mad2: well anyway... her eyes are blue in other part of the game...

They are green. If they appear blue, then your TV screen might be losing its color distinction.

yer but it happened at my cusins house and I thought their T.V was stuffed up so i went bak to my house and played it there but her eyes were still like that... :(

But why would Square bother to alter her eye colour during the game? It makes no sense. Where in the game and get screenshots.

maybe that is just how the colour comes out in-game

Well, it's not like they painted her eye with glass paints and glaze and when she came out of the kiln, her eyes were more blue than green, despite that the label on the bottle said greenish-blue.

Perhpas your interpretation of the situation is supect. Everyone can find specific things wrong despite what other people say. Wishful thinking, we shall call it.

All Al Bhed eyes are green and have that swirly pattern. Simple as that. There's no reason for her to have blue eyes.

Get what? There really wasnt anything to get. Her eyes have always been green in normal scenes and FMVs. Dont know where you got the blue from.

Meh, I too get confused, but with Yuna's eyes. Supposedly the left is green and the right is blue (to show her mixed heritage) but I see them both blue all the time...

Rikku's eyes color changes along with her skin colour. The colour depends on the surrounding.

Though I know Al Bhed people are all blond and green eyed, now that I took a close look on that Rikku's pic, it really seems to be blue... but in FMVs I clearly see they are green... argh, I'm confused!! :confused: :confused:

Early development could have called for colorless eyes- or somthing a little different. Later on in the game, for whatever reason, they may have added some effect to her CG eyes, and eyes in the game as a quick fix. That is my technical answer.

rikku's model ingame has an aqua colored eye so it has a sort of greenish hue. I can hardly see her eyes in fmvs so i dunno about that but sometimes in the game, they seem blue. weird:confused:

It is green. All al bhed have green swerly(sp?) eyes.

yepp, they're supposed to have green eyes with swirls but sometimes, the game's surroundings and light makes it look aqua or even blue in some cases. I hardly ever pay attention to her eyes though.

Rikku's eyes are green with the Al Bhed swirl intertwined in their colour - it's blatanly shown when Auron asks to have Rikku look at him when she asks to become a guardian of Yuna in FFX. The scene occures along the Moonflow, right as you are leaving Moonflow to go to Guadosalom.

As for her eyes seeming to change, it's probably due to the light settings. Darker surroundings or having a light to he back of Rikku will probably give her eyes a much more turquiose look than a green one, so that may be why some people seem to think that she has blue-green eyes.
