I actually liked Beck for awhile, and I like Eureka Seven, but Eureka Seven has a bad ending.Just my opinion anyway. Though I also like Mushishi.

Eureka 7's ending is better than a lot of shows (just watched it this morning actually). It doesn't leave a whole lot of loose ends because everything is explained quite well.

My very favorite anime is Elfen Lied, but I've been getting into Nana lately, for some odd reason. xD What I've seen of Azumanga Daioh is great, though. Oh, and for a very long time Slayers was my favorite, and that show will always have a place in my heart. Noir as well.

my current faveorite Anime is "Ragnarok the Anime"... I am up to the episode where Roan comes face to face with Doppel, its really eerie, but it has many heart warming and funny moments.

At the moment it's a draw between Wolf's Rain and Alfred J. Kwak for me. Both are excellent shows with a lot of character development, interesting and deep characters with whom you can sympathise with, quality animation, beautiful music with both epic score and catchy songs, continuity that is maintained so that even the minor characters have later on an important role in the story which in itself deals with some harsh subjects, there are both happy and sad moments, and the humour is never too much over the top so one can feel the drama and tragedy all around. :)
