Really? I never knew the first one did well...I don't think his comic is very funny any more...it wasn't that great before, meh.

He's still a kitty. :cat:

I'm with Zeromus_X. I didn't think the first one did well enough/was good enough to have a sequel. I guess I just didn't notice. Well best wishes to all those involved in the film. I doubt I will be ever seeing it. Not intentionally, anyway.

The comics are hilarious, I own about thirty. It takes a while to get into them. When you first read it you may only understand half the jokes but after getting to know what his character is like and learning about his lifestyle you will be able to understand the rest of them. I don't know too much about the movie but unless it is written by Jim Davis I probably won't be interested

In my humble opinion, the Garfield movies make me want to inflict violence upon pedestrians.

I think the movies are terrible. I don't find them funny at all.

You'd be suprised with how many bad kids movies have sequels. I didn't think much of the first movie, but they animated him pretty well, hehe.

I saw a sign advertisement and thought "surely that's a joke" but sadly no

I actually did find the first Garfield movie quite funny. And it's a kiddy movie... I loathe kiddy movies.

The First Garfield movie was solidified <img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif">.

I'm willing to bet the second one is the same.

This is just one of the reasons I've lost most of my faith in Hollywood.

The only reason the first one was remotely entertaining was that it had Bill Murray's voice. I <3 sarcasm. I, too, saw the trailer for the second one at the movie theater and the fact that it doesn't include Bill's talent this time around turns it directly into steaming dung.

I found the Garfield movies funny for roughly a microsecond. In other words, they're so unfunny (like the Andy Milonakis Show) that they hurt.

I love Garfield, but the first movie sucked, I just saw some of the actors and quit watching it (and a bit of it, got bored and left. I'm not that critical). I'd rather they stick to animated cartoon Garfield and comics.
