What do you think of the Terminator movies? I like Terminator 1 & 2 but I HATE Terminator 3.

I love Terminator 2 the most. Robert Patrick is amazing and I cried my eyes out at the end, as did my Robert Patrick look-alike uncle! For the time (1992) it was well done cause when Robert Patrick is chasing Edward Furlong one of his legs is computer animated as he damaged one of his legs! I didnt notice till my boyfriend told me afew years ago.

Best music, best action, best lines and had the best actors. I didnt like the first and I hate the third. Seen it on the opening night and loads of people were slating it. Who knows what the fourth installment will be like.

I have love for all three Terminator movies. The third one gets a load of gyp, probably because it was made so long after the second film and without James Cameroon, but it is a above-average action movie, and the ending where the world ending is so unconventional and unexpected.

Terminator 3 is great and is my favorite. It fits the pace at which I like movies to run at. I also like how it is a big contrast to the 2nd movie about fate and how things play out. It is a good sequel to a great sequel.

I don't think T3 was necessary. Wasn't great. T2 was the best one.

I liked Terminator 3 as a movie where you could kick back, relax, turn your brain off for a couple of hours and enjoy. Nothing tops T2, though.

Arnies best work, T1 was great, T2 was overly great, and T3 was good. I just have to make sure to bring my pack of tissues for the end of T2.

I can't decide which is the best, Terminator 1 or 2? The third one is out of the question.

Terminator 1 was classic because it was one of the few films where the heroes spend the whole time on the run from the bad guy. That, and 'Nice day for a walk!'

What was the story in the first movie? I'm trying to seperate the first from the sequel.

What was the story in the first movie? I'm trying to seperate the first from the sequel.

Sarah Connor is a regular Joe living her life not knowing that she is the future mother of the resistance that will inevitably save humanity. A Terminator (T-800) is sent back by Skynet, the machine's in the future, to kill Sarah Connor before John Connor is born. Thus it starts systematically killing every Sarah Connor in the area alphabetically. But the resistances sends back Kyle Reese, a soldier from the future, to protect Sarah. He manages to find her just as the Terminator does, and the two go on the lam, but are eventually caught by the police. Kyle explains under interrogation that humanity had already won the war in the future, and that the Terminators mission was one of desperation by the machines. The Terminator tracks them to the police station and kills every single cop there trying to find and kill Sarah, but her and Kyle escape. Whilst on the run it becomes clear that Kyle is actually John's father, and he was hand-selected by John because of his emotional attachment to Sarah. Thusly they do the do and John is "in the oven". Again the Terminator finds them and chases them to a factory where Kyle is killed in an explosion, only to have the Terminator follow Sarah through a pneumatic press and be crashed by her. Sarah then decides to isolate herself from society to keep John safe. The Terminator wreckage at the factory is inevitably found which leads to the events in T2.

Ah, yes I remember now. Yes, Terminator 1 is my favorite of the trilogy.

Can those of you who actually like Terminator 3 explain to me how it's a good movie? Because in my opinion Rise Of The Machines sucks more than Batman Forever and Batman & Robin combined!

T2 is one of the greatest action films of all time. The other two are alright action films.

I agree. T2 was great. I saw T3 for the first time recently actually. It wasn't bad, but it was no where near as good as the other two.

T3 completely negates the story of the first two movies, which put forth that the future can be changed and there there is "no fate but what we make." This was a moving and empowering sentiment that the third film completely threw out with its "Oops, no, robots blow up the world no matter what" ending.

Also, Schwarzenegger's drooping nipples were a sad sight.

Also there's no Sarah Connor in Terminator 3...I know that's a stupid reason but what can I say? I like Sarah she was a bad ass.

I was in High school when the Terminator first came out. When Arnold walked to the edge of the parking lot nude at the beginning of the movie to see the view of L.A. I could hear all the guys in the audience gasping" LOOK AT THAT BODY!"

T1- Liked
T2- Loved. Best in series for reasons many people mentioned.
T3- Liked it for what it was, though I consider the movie to be sort of an alternate timeline deal.

Believe it or not, I don;t believe I've ever viewed Terminator 1.

Terminator 2 was the best of the two (T3), no doubt about it. Everything about T3 just seemed like another run-of-the-mill hohum action flick.

Eddie got fat.

I like T2, T1, and T3 in that order. Only because I'm a sucker for nostalgia.

T3 was a good movie imo. Not as groundbreaking any more as T2 but what can you do?

I know what I would've done, if I were the director, I would've left Terminator, alone...The Terminator franchise, should've ended, at Terminator II also the Batman, franchise should've ended at Batman II.

Kawaii Ryűkishi

James Cameron did end the franchise at Terminator 2. Some nobody named Jonathan Mostow directed the third one.

I love all of the Terminator movies. But I really don't know whether I like 1 or 2 better, they are both amazing movies. 3 was pretty good, but definately not up to the standards of the first two.
