Ah yes, a most addicting little game!

http://cybernations.net

Basically you create your own nation, build it up, declare war, trade, form various alliances, manage military and population, etc. It gets to be quite fun when your nation starts to kick some serious ass!

So anyone on here have a nation? If so link me!

Here's mine: http://cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=23448

Also, me and some members have set up an alliance called the OYT, Order of the Yellow Turban. This is the first true yellow alliance, and we're looking for more people to help build it up. However, this requires that you be on the yellow team. If you're interested, please visit our forums which are accessible by clicking by signature.

Maxxtopia is a small and new nation at 0 days old with citizens primarily of Caucasian ethnicity whose religion is Voodoo. It is a backwards nation when it comes to technology and many refer to it unkindly as a 'Third World Nation'. Its citizens pay moderately high tax rates and they are somewhat unhappy in their work environments as a result. The citizens of Maxxtopia work diligently to produce Coal and Silver as tradable resources for their nation. It is an aggressive country that some say has an itch for war. It believes nuclear weapons are necessary for the security of its people. The military of Maxxtopia has been positioned at all border crossings and is arresting all drug traffickers. Maxxtopia allows its citizens to protest their government but uses a strong police force to monitor things and arrest lawbreakers. It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. Maxxtopia believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizens right to speak freely about their government. The government gives whatever is necessary to help others out in times of crisis, even it means hurting its own economy. Maxxtopia will not make deals with another country that has a poor history of inhuman treatment of its citizens.

Yeeeaaahhhhh.

Albireo is a small and new nation at 0 days old with citizens primarily of British ethnicity whose religion is Shinto. It is a backwards nation when it comes to technology and many refer to it unkindly as a 'Third World Nation'. Its citizens enjoy freedom from high taxation and as a result tend to earn more money. The citizens of Albireo work diligently to produce Rubber and Lead as tradable resources for their nation. It is a very passive country when it comes to foreign affairs and has no interests in war. Albireo is currently researching nuclear technology for the use of nuclear power plants but believes nuclear weapons should be banned. Plans are on the way within Albireo to open new rehabilitation centers across the nation and educate its citizens of the dangers of drug use. Albireo allows its citizens to protest their government but uses a strong police force to monitor things and arrest lawbreakers. It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. Albireo believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizens right to speak freely about their government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. Albireo will not make deals with another country that has a poor history of inhuman treatment of its citizens.

Lu-nar is a small and new nation at 0 days old with citizens primarily of Mixed ethnicity who follow no religion. It will usually only attack another nation if attacked first. It believes nuclear weapons are necessary for the security of its people. The military of Lu-nar has been positioned at all border crossings and is arresting all drug traffickers. Lu-nar has no definite position on domestic issues concerning government protests in the country at this time. It's borders are closed to all forms of immigration. Lu-nar detains individuals who participated in the slanderous comments about the government. The government of Lu-nar has no compassion for other people of the world and does not contribute to foreign aid. Lu-nar will not make deals with another country that has a poor history of inhuman treatment of its citizens.

We're a third world country, but tend to earn more money. If you say so.

Sorry to revive this, but me and my fellow colleagues have just formed an alliance, the Order of the Yellow Turban (OYT), and are looking for people to join. We are the first true yellow alliance, which is a new addition to the game, and can aid and protect young or older nations. However, you will have to switch to the yellow team to join.

Feel free to visit our forums to sign up or get more information, which can be accessed by clicking my sig. We look forward to seeing you on our side.

Can anyone would close enough strength attack this guy? http://cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=26174

He's invading small nations for cheap gold. I'm too strong and the game won't let me attack him. :(

GooeyToast

I might have a guy who can attack him for you.

GooeyToast

Heh, I'm suprised anyone would be stupid enough to attack with only 30 strength.

Raistlin
07-21-2006, 03:06 AM
And he's demanding 500 gold, too. xD So if he spends, say, 200 on extra troops, he only nets about 300. Which is much less than he'd get if he'd just spend his money on infrastructure and keep his DEFCON at 5 and collect taxes.

GooeyToast
07-21-2006, 03:12 AM
Wow, a whopping 500 gold. That will buy you about hmm....nothing. xD

Infra is definetly the way to go.

Greenpeace is a small and new nation at 0 days old with citizens primarily of Caucasian ethnicity whose religion is Hinduism. It is a backwards nation when it comes to technology and many refer to it unkindly as a 'Third World Nation'. Its citizens enjoy freedom from high taxation and as a result tend to earn more money. The citizens of Greenpeace work diligently to produce Gems and Furs as tradable resources for their nation. It is a mostly neutral country when it comes to foreign affairs. It will usually only attack another nation if attacked first. It believes nuclear weapons are necessary for the security of its people. The Greenpeace nation leaders are aware of the situation of drug use in the country but are too addicted to drugs themselves to do anything about it. Greenpeace does not allow any form of government protests. Its armed police forces work quickly at "dissolving" any and all government protests. It's borders are closed to all forms of immigration. Greenpeace believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizens right to speak freely about their government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. The government of Greenpeace will trade with any other country regardless of ethical consequences.
