Naw, it'd be the atack where he puts em in a dome of energy beams and u gotta reflect em all. Never once have I ever gotten hit by one of them in that, BTW, so easy to kill that move.

Geeze so many big words This guess is probably really wrong but oh well might as well give it a try.

A Reticence Betrayed- Reticence...meaning like someone restrained or someone that doesn't speak freely? So if they betrayed it then they were silent but then they no longer were...?

The Ether Decayed- Ether...like the actual potion or just magic in general...or could it mean something else? Can't ether mean something else...I'm not sure. I have a feeling about this but I'm not sure if it's right.

Halcyon Waylaid- Halcyon means like calm or peaceful right? So to waylay the calm...to like seize or attack it? Meaning they wouldn't be calm or collected anymore, they'd be more...fierce maybe? I'm not sure.

Erroneously Portrayed- This part is hard...erroneously means false I think, false or untrue...something like that. Something that is falsely portrayed? Weird...I'm not to sure about this part either.

Well I've never actually went in depth with a riddle like this before, I just did it this time because this riddle confused me with the big words. Well anyway if I were to guess anything or anyone I'd say Saix? but I'm probaby wrong.

Halcyon waylaid -> you are not really at peace when your heart is taken, no?

Erroneously portrayed -> this could be literal shape of a heart in the game not resembling the actual organ or referring to the metamorphosis that occurs when a heart is stolen (Heartless and Nobodies)

In conclusion my answer is: the heart. More specifically a stolen Heart.

EDIT: Relates to Xehanort insofar as it is "No heart" :)

Would make sense since that is where Sora was put to rest while his memories were restored and where Roxas was kept. It was latter destroyed by Roxas (or the virtual one was at least). Not too sure about the third line though. But I assume the last line is a hint at Ansem who was mistakenly portrayed in the first game.

Your answer here's probably the closest, my exact answer was Ansem using the heartless to break down the barriers between the worlds, in order to absorb them into darkness.

A Reticence Betrayed - Ansems behaviour utilized and aggradised the usually quiet darkness in people's hearts to create the Heartless.
The Ether Decayed - The Heartless break down the barriers between the worlds in order to absorb them.
Halcyon Waylaid - Obviously, this upset the peace in the Kingdom Hearts universe.
Erroneously Portrayed - Just shows Ansems involvement.

Please you need to inform us of a good clue.. instead of saying KH2 and has nothing to do with heartless... I can tell you from my observations it has to do with one of the killings of the members of Organization XIII but if it's not xaldin then.... We know its a him but that won't change anything bcause in kh2 there mostly guys shown from organization thirteen.... But then the wind and the electricity grabs my attention the most...who uses wind except for Xaldin ??
