I love her.

Click 'More here' to see an actual screencap of her DS with the score (I'd link directly to that site, but it's in Japanese.)

theres absalutely no evidence that she is the one who got the score.

and whether there was a gameshark to help out or not.

How the hell do they know that was her? Someone could of just put in her name, and they probably used gameshark. I need more evidence before I beleive this.

If she really got that score, I like her more than I did before.

She's Japanese. Of course she's good at Tetris.

I mentioned the 'Click Here' button to see the screenshot. That is Utada Hikaru's blog. So Utada posted the pic, and it's quite likely hers.

In Tetris DS, you can keep the tetrads in the air indefinitely just by continuing to rotate them, so even when they start coming down lightning-fast, you can take all the time you like to put them where you want them. Not to say Hikaru has no Tetris skill at all, but maxing the score counter in the DS version is nothing to be amazed about.

Besides that, she's a mega popular pop icon in Japan and she openly displays her Gamer side. And she won 26/30 of her matches (http://touch-ds.jp/news/tetris_event/index.html), so she has to have some semblance of skill :P.

I was going to point that out but 'Kishi beat me to it. It's somewhat disappointing, but really it'd be nigh impossible to beat it at the higher difficulty levels without having that ability.

I'd say that the number of wins and losses that she encountered speaks for her ability and skill on that particular game more than the difficulty of the game itself.

Oh, I do not disparage her skills in the least. I just say that it makes the main game kinda easy.
