I forgot to announce that on JUNE 30th, 2006 I beat Final Fantasy IIIj - That game is AWESOME. SERIOUSLY - SO HERE IS AN OVERALL utterly RIDICULOUS too much information slurge from me to you....
This is a copy and paste from my webjournal so it's speaking as if you know nothing about FF. Sorry, just HAD to do it.

I HAVE DONE IT!
Last night June 30th, 2006 I FINALLY BEAT FINAL FANTASY 3j!!!!!!! It was awesome!
I believe other than maybe FF7 that, FF3j is THE most time I've EVER put into an RPG. I seriously played the FOOK out of that. Plus, I OVERTRAINED. Like alot. But I like to be more safe then sorry. In the beginning of the game I thought I could beat this sea monster but everytime I got stronger he would always heat me just above my HP, but I found out it's a battle you can't win. You have to give his EYE back and he's happy. http://www.xanga.com/Images/silly.gif
So from that I gained like 20 lvls- So for awile everything was a cinch! The only REALLY difficult parts were, The Cave of Darkness, Forbidden Land Eureka, and of course, DARK WORLD. Man, It was fun.
From a technical standpoint....umm...FINAL FANTASY 3j KICKS SO MUCH BOOTY!
Final Fantasy 3j is by far THE BEST of the NES 8-bit era series and my favortie. While I really liked the character devolopment in FF2, I just enjoyed FF3j so much better because it made me happy.
Graphics 10/10 - For the NES the graphics and use of colors were amazing. Some of the enemies looked as if they were SNES style grapics - which was/is amazing. It is the best looking of the NES titles and is laid out much better.

Story: 10/10 - For an NES game, again. AMAZING. It's funny how you think the world is SO BIG - and what's going on is so big - but then you find out it was so small and there is so much MORE - and what you've experienced is nothing to what you'll have to face. This game gave the really cool feeling of four boys, that go on an adventure and you actually feel like you GROW UP. It was PURE FUN.
Sound/ Music - 9.5/10 - For the NES it's pretty freaking WOW. Nobou Uematsu's score for it was actually really good. Musically, it had really good music and happy upbeat parts, ominous dungeon music, good battle music, and boss battle music. Was really good. The sounds were all really good except the HIGH PITCHED "CHINK" when you selected things, that kept it from a 10/10 - but it didn't bother me too much.
Gameplay: 8/10 - How could you NOT love it? lol FF ROCKS! The only thing that was kind of downfall was the class system. FF3j is the first game in the series to incoporate the job system - the only thing is, at the end of the game you have 2 AWESOME classes, and like 15 other crippled ones, which isn't very good. I fought the system though and didn't do 2 ninjas and 2 sages, but a Knight, 2 Ninjas, and a Sage. Fortunatly, for the DS remake, I think they are balancing the classes better. For this game I was REALLY strong for an NES FF game- Everyone was LVL. 62 - which is VERY strong again for an NES FF game. I could have had my HP a lot higher if I would have played as other classes when they wanted you to change, but I liked staying the same class for a long time, Limpar, until he was a sage, was a Red Wizard the whole game, that's why his HP is the lowest. All in all here's what we've been -
Jamie - Fighter, Knight, Mknight, then back to Knight.
Doug - Bl. Belt, Karateka Master, and Ninja
Limpar - Red Wizard, Sage
Pfeiff - Fighter, Dragoon, Mknight, and Ninja
------
One thing I wish I would have done differently was not go so long without playing. This game took me 6 monthes, FF7 and FF8 took me 5 months- But by keeping long intervals it maybe made the ending not as effective and cool as it might had been....but it WAS - It made me smile and want to jump for joy. http://www.xanga.com/Images/happy.gif - But while playing FF3j - I beat FF1 and FF2....so....Yeah - Next time, and game I hope to stay with it and rock and such. I loved it so much because the 4 boys, it was the Y-CREW- ME, LIMPAR, DOUG AND PFEIFF. THIS IS OUR STORY.
So this is how we used to be-
