Sephiroth Playability. *Might Have Spoilers*

I used my GameShark to erase my Vincent and replace him
with Sephiroth. I have a couple questions about this though
because I haven't done it in a long time.

Is Sephiroth the same level as the character you erased him with or
is he Level 34-ish like in the Flashbacks?(The GameShark retreives Sephiroth from here and replaces the character with that version.)

-and, Can you equip him with any materia?

What I did with Sephiroth was try to beat Emerald with just him. The downside is that hes not controllable. So he was easily merked. My memory is foggy, but I was able to defeat him with just two characters.
I thought about it and said that he must have been set to his default Level then.

The Sephiroth you can Gameshark in is indeed the one you get in the flashback. You can also technically bring in Young Cloud, who actually has the highest stats in the game if I remember correctly. The main problem with Sephiroth is that you can't equip him, nor can you change his materia. When you consider later on you can get the Bahamut materia and KotR, his hit all elemental attacks start to seem a little bit gimp.

young cloud is 19? i could have sworn that he was 16...?

Well, actually, in the main game, Cloud is 21, which would indeed make him 16 in the flashbacks. Don't know where you got 23 from. Maybe Advent Children. He's 23 in AC.

As far as my expierience goes, using this makes a very buggy sephiroth, soemtimes with no character avatar, and corrupting my saves, and while i use him, he has a mind of his own... sorry if that's no help, but i can't remember how or where i got that code thing from :rolleyes2

Use the codes here (http://www.cmgsccc.com/codes.php?do=view&id=1258&page=22) to make Sephiroth a 'normal' character, i.e. equip different weapons and equipment, change his materia, take damage in battle, level up, etc.
