I was playing a psx one (I guess it was the first) but it was kind of confusing on the streets so I got lost easily and I wasnt able to get a single battle (yeah, Im pathetic).. The plot seemed interesting but Im not sure if this game is worth my time..

Of course they are good, they really are in the top PS1 RPGs IMO. I prefered Persona 2 to one, but I think it would make more sense if you played P1 first because the story does continue in P2. Hopefully Persona 3 will get a UK release, but in order to release their Personas, the characters have to shoot themselves in the head ... But you get to attend high school, make friends and have a social life in the game, which sounds fun.

Persona 1 suffered a pretty terrible localization, and the story of Persona 2 may confuse you since it was spread across two games but only the second one was released outside of Japan. They're still said (http://hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/megaten/megaten4.htm) to be pretty worthwhile, though.

Seven years since the release of the second Persona 2, Persona 3 (http://www.gamesarefun.com/news.php?newsid=6108) is finally coming out in Japan in a few days, and it should be released in the West by the end of this year. It looks rather good, and since Atlus is now the provider of some of the best translations in the game industry (ironic, considering Persona 1), I'll definitely be getting into that.

I've been dying to play the second one, but I've never seen it anywhere, and the last time I looked to buy it online, it was way too expensive. For me. I was able to catch the intro to the third one not too long ago, and I'm not as excited about it as I would have hoped, but I'll still keep an eye on it. Maybe my memory's messing with me, but from what I can remember it looked it a little...silly.

For some reason Lucifers Call scared the heck out of me and I couldnt play it. I doubt I'll be able to play Digital Devil Saga is it, cause I read you have to eat your enemies. Too much for me.

I own the first game and thought it was only just above average. Persona 2 is meant to be alot better, I was encouraged to buy it but when I saw how rare the game is and how must it goes for, I gave up.

I guess I didn't notice that when I read about and watched a couple from videos from Persona 2. And man all of their games are always so expensive. I'd like to play Digital Devil Saga and all those other ones too but it's just too expensive. The prices never seem to go down. I know that game is still 40 bucks at GameCrazy. Urgh.

To bad you Americans dont have GameZillas, or if you do good ones, because the one near me has tons of rare games, from SNES ones to GameBoy PS ones and comic books, dvds, even japanese toys.
