Heh, I liked that...

Anyways, I've never heard of such a thing, but I'm sure you could check the 7/11 website itself to see.

http://www.7-eleven.com/

I didn't see it anywhere, but I didn't look that hard, so who knows?

Not really. The only difference is 7-11 and AM PM.

Slurpie > Icee

As for free Slurpies tomorrow... well, that would be just awesome.

that would be crazy. dont think they would do it though... they would be run dry in no time, especially since you could walk from store to store in the city continually getting slurpies... *drools*

I would imagine such a thing would be local to a single shop or a township of shops, anyway.

I won't mind if it's worldwide, but I hope they give away free cup noodles.

Free Slurpees
By Natalie Haughton, Daily News Food Editor

7-Eleven stores are celebrating 79 years and the 25th anniversary of the Big Gulp fountain drink. Today, participating stores will be giving away an 7.11-ounce free Slurpee (each store is allotted 500 cups, so go early to get one) to customers as thanks for their patronage. Also Big Gulp cups will be 25 percent bigger (40 ounces) during the summer for the usual price. To find a store location near you, call (800) 255-0711, or visit www.7-eleven.com.

Looks like it's true enough. It's in Yahoo! News (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/060709/dasu001.html?.v=6) too, with a longer article.

7eleven used to be in the UK, I think they all turned into Budgens or something....

7-11 is a lovely place that you can find on every street corner, where you can buy prepacked fried snacks, beer, energy drinks, and overpriced cigarettes. they also have an incredible hot foods section featuring 5 year old hot dogs, and slurpees.

In short, 7-11 is heaven. Oh thank Heaven for 7-11!

It doesn't get much better than a 7-11 hotdog and a free slurpee.

I should check. I like 7 Eleven. When I was younger, I'd always ride my bike there and pick up rolls of lifesavers... but I don't like slurpies. xD

there's just one across my house. i use to go there many times during the summer with my cousins and friends. one of them would fill the cup, drink halfway down and fill it up again before going to the cashier...
