So I'm really really really pissed right now, my hotmail/msn was hacked into, and whoever the fuck it was, was selling credit card numbers, and claimed to be 14, or so says someone who they talked too. But yea, really pissed, and want their blood. Now topic wise, have your email accounts, forum accounts or anyhting of the sort been hacked into?

No, I usually make really complex passwords that would take years to guess and quite awhile to brute force.

My MSN account got stolen once. But only because I used my actual father's middle name as the recovery question. It was no big deal, though. It was some backup account I never planned on using. Plus I did learn a valuable lesson.

Luckily not even I know my security questions answer, and i just sent the password changing thingy to my backup email address, which im glad i had and rememerbed what it was.

My MSN was once hacked into to (hack is not really the proper term though, considering there was no hacking actually involved, just password insertion), and the same happened to my WoW account. Oh wells.

Makes you wonder why people would bother hacking into such things... Unless people keep important numbers in their accounts, which is kind of an unwise thing to do anyways...

On the forum I was in before I came here, my account got hacked, and someone changed my avatar to a picture of a lady's naughty bits.

I didn't even notice until one of the staff pmed me about it. Glad it didn't happen here. Chat may be better than the forums, but I don't wanna be banned for something I didn't do.

Well, the hacker added himself to my msn contact list, and asked me who i was when I signed on today, and apparently he wrote a program to do it, and gave it to his friend who did the actual hacking.

I use alphanumeric passwords; so far I've never been hacked, or scammed.
