I've heard that one EVERY year of my life....well except in my baby years. I always find it funny, I say "yeah, it's better than down there":D

Ain't nothing bad that I can think of about being tall. One annoying thing is when your aunts and uncles start singling you out for that very reason. But there are many advantages. I feel more confident walking down the street because of my height

I think being tall has a few issues. I'm 6'4".

When you shop for a new car, there are a lot of cars you can't even consider because you don't fit comfortably in them. If you aren't careful, you can hit your head on things that a lot of people wouldn't. Neither of my couches is long enough for me to lay on comfortably. My feet also hang off the end of my bed, but I've become so used to this that it isn't a problem.

I'm 5'11'', but my bet is that I will eventually be 6 feet or higher. I'm only 16, so I've got a long ways to go yet.

Advantages:
-People rarely try to push you around when you're taller than them.
-You have good acess to hard-to-reach objects.
-You will find certain sports easier.
- Lots of girls like tall guys. (I know, I know, I just had to say that...)

Disadvantages:
-Hitting your head is easy.
-Some tasks (such as riding in an airplane) can become claustrophobia-inducing.
-Clothes can be harder to find.

I found out recently that I'm 5'4" which puts me really close to average for a girl (I think the average is about 5'7"ish.) and I was excited about that.

Otherwise, I can do things tall people can't, like run underneath some things and not bang my head.

I'm 6'1", and I also have a high metabolism. It's friggin impossible for me to find clothes that fit properly. It's all the fat Americans' fault! (Not meaning to insult anyone here)

I am tall. It is nice to reach stuff and use friends as leaning posts.

Disavantages are hitting your head on stuff and people assuming since you are tall you are tough and such.

I think I stopped growing taller this year or something. I'm 14 and 6'0", so yeah, I'm tall for me age. I like being able to see in crowds. Sometimes, I feel... too tall, especially around some of my really short friends. I use them as head rests (though I have to bend down to do so) and their heads as cupholders. I go to the most ghetto school in our ghetto district, so I guess my height may defer some people from wanting to pick a fight. [/intimidating] There aren't too many disadvantages aside from standing out.

I never hit my head on anything, and am nowhere near touching ceilings and stuff. Everything must be short in Europe. :3
