Hello,
I am a new member, on a bit of a mission...
I am desperately looking to find the Final Fantasy 9 game, as a surprise present for someone else, on the PC. But I can't find it anywhere to buy on the internet, or on the highstreet. Does anyone know where I can buy this game for the PC? Any help would be much appreciated! Thankyou.

There was an April Fools joke on FFOnline ages ago about the release of an PC version for FFIX. Suffice to say, it doesn't exist and probably never will.

I also think it was never released for the PC. I have never ever seen it in stores, nor on the internet.

Out of all the Playstation FF games, FFIX was the only game not to have a PC release.

what? they make ff XI for PC; it is a paid subscription online game.

Final fantasy X is an excelent one player and more classic like RPG.

Yeah, you can tell from my naive knowledge that I am not a massive gamer. :( Sorry for the mistakes

I remember seeing that a few years back. It actually had me going for all of three, maybe four seconds.

Aside from that April Joke (I also remember it), FFIX wasn't ever released for PC. However, if you want to play it on a PC and have a fast enough computer, you can try an emulator called ePSXe. It plays otherwise just as well as the PSX version, except you can choose the resolution and use your video card to enhance the game with 3D graphics, so the game will look a lot better on a PC than on a PSX.

Wait, if you can play FFX, you can play FFIX. The PS2 was backwards compatible with the PSX, so FFIX will play on your PS2.
