What was your first Final Fantasy?

Mine was Final Fantasy VIII.

I briefly played 7 for a couple of minutes, so I wouldnt class it as my first.
I'd say 8 was my first.

I love these! Everyone can share their first FF game... :cat:

I played FFIV first, but I could never beat it. I then played FFVI, so that could be considered the first one I actually beat, but not the first one I played. I tried playing FFI, but as a kid I just couldn't handle it's 'old graphics' (in the SNES days.xD Then, many years later, I wanted to play the newer ones, and got FFVII, VIII, and IX. (I actually played them in order.) I played FFV on Emulation before buying Anthology. And then I played Tactics somewhere along the way...and then I picked up Dawn of Souls. I found it really easy, and didn't remember the NES version to be so hard, so I tried playing that, and it was much harder. After beating the NES version about three times, I got Origins, and got to play FFI and II in their original difficulty with improved graphics and what-not. And then, finally, I played FFIII on emulation. After I bought a PS2, I played Final Fantasy X and X-2.

Okay, I'll stop rambling now. :cat:

Honestly, I don't really remember. Seeing that I got FFVII in 1997, it's most likely that it was my first.

How did you play IV, SNES emulation?

On the SNES. But that was when it was released as 'FFII', and FFVI as 'FFIII'.
