I don't get music videos on TV so I have to watch them all on YouTube. Music videos are something I'm not very knowledgeable about, and I don't have a favorite. Off the top of my head some videos I had fun watching include:

Pearl Jam's Do the Evolution, Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer, Beck's Girl.

I hate all music videos. I prefer to listen to music on its own. Music isn't about quality anymore, it's about the image so it can appeal to some form of teenage clique, and music videos are partially to blame to decrease the auditory enjoyment in the place of visual stimulation.

Peter Gabriel's SledgehammerHell yes.

Also, Intergalactic by the Beastie Boys (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipQHS7EfKFU) and Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1Qdcdw22Sw) are both awesome.

My current favorite of, of course, Tell Me Baby - RHCP. It just makes me happy. I love it.

Also:

I love it when sixteen year olds try to make it look like they've been around since Led Zepplin days and try to wiegh the quality of music compared to the days of yore.

This is my personal favourite song ever, and I love the video too.

My favourite actual video is the one with that dude who keeps getting run over my cars but keeps walking until he stops and then when one runs into him it smashes into bits, but I don't know what the song is called.

I think it'll always be Closer by Nine Inch Nails. It's almost as good as the song. Dani California is one that I'll never get tired of watching. And Is It Any Wonder? by Keane is great, although I'm not sure why I like it so much since it isn't REALLY anything special. And I like Beck's Sexx Laws. :D

I don't know the name of it. It has Christopher Watkins dancing through it and at the end he sits down like an old man. I think it was by Fat Boy Slim.

I agree ... i think its really funny cause in the 80's we had goth ... now we've got emo ... which is kinda gay in my opinion ... -its a bunch of lil kids dressin in black (and bein all depressed because theyre parents make alot of money and they live in a nice house oh and nobody understands them)... personaly goth music was much better than emo music today ... i haven't heard one emo band that holds a candle to skinny puppy or bauhaus ...
and goth clothes were never bough in a hot topic ... *retch* ... commercialize goth and u get emo ...

My favourite actual video is the one with that dude who keeps getting run over my cars but keeps walking until he stops and then when one runs into him it smashes into bits, but I don't know what the song is called.
i think its rabbit in the headlights your thinkin of by radiohead - Kyono

my favorite music video is ... Love is a Battlefield by Pat Benatar .... (i'm not sure if you know or care ... but she was like the 2nd vid to play on mtv and the 1st to have dialogue in it ^^)
I don't like music vids to much now ... all they show is whore-E chicks
makin there ass fat giggle or somethin' ... which has nothing to do with the song (unless the song is 'hey whore-E Biotch shake your ass fat for me' or something)
i miss the old days ... when music vids were cool ... like peter gabriel,X,Front 242, Kate Bush,... hell ... even Ozzy... but not hair bands ... that was soo gay ... and are not soft core porn ... which u can now see on Fox network in prime time ...

By far, the best music video ever:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7MxREbu8Mk&search=prime%20time%20of%20your%20life

Daft Punk's The Prime Time of Your Life from the album Human After All.

If you disagree, you are wrong.

Edit: I forgot. Daft Punk's videos for Robot Rock and Technologic from Human After All are almost as good.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fx5Jlap6uZY&search=daft%20punk -> Technologic

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzfqZcTluHc&search=robot%20rock -> Robot Rock (video quality isn't so good on this one, but it's still good) Also, for some reason MTV speeds this video up when they play it, so if it sounds different that's why.
