Well, that crashing business is over, but now that I've downloaded the latest version of Firefox, the thing at the bottom of the screen is gigantic! How can I reduce it back to the normal size? (The frame, or whatever it's called. It has the Winamp player and what-not.)

I'm assuming it's an extension. Just go to Tools > Extensions and disable it.

Alright, I tried that, but all it did was remove Foxytunes from the bar. It's still there. :/ :cat:

Is it still there when you close and reopen Firefox?
Some extensions uninstall when Firefox is closed and reopened!

Yes, it's still there. I don't think it's an extension. When I upgraded to the latest version, it's just there. It's like the bottom part of the window frame is seven times larger. Foxytunes is still on it, but below it is all this light brown (like the toolbar's color) space.

Try uninstalling (backup up your bookmarks) and removing the Firefox directory in Program Files and your Firefox profile in C:\Documents and Settings\*user name*\Application Data\Mozilla\

Reinstall.

What do I need to do to backup my bookmarks?

copy bookmarks.html and paste it somewhere else.

Alright, I went to the Firefox homepage and found out what I had to do. There was some spyware thing in my chrome folder, which I deleted. When I restarted FF, everything works perfectly. Thanks guys! You can close my two help threads if you want.
