How do you perform a Limit Break???

I played the whole game and I got all the characters and I was wondering how do you perform any limit break becaus all the time I have been playing I never perform one limit break.Can anyone tell me how do you use the limit break??

When you're at critical health (HP numbers are yellow or red), there's a chance that character can use their Limit Break. You'll hear a sound and the Fight Command will have an arrow next to it. Press right on the Fight command to access the Special Attack.

You can also achieve the same thing with the spell 'Aura', although it doesn't have the same benefits of having critical health.

Also, you may have to try more than once before it appears. Keep pressing Triangle (or whatever button you use to switch characters' commands in battle) until it pops up.

Quistis's tutorials are godly, quit bashing the whip-lady Zero. Well except that whole "I don't feel the need to mention Boost" that's probly not so good.

when you've cast aura, your body glows a yellow and gold, when it wears off (back to normal colours) you'll have to cast again.

oh! and if you randomly skim through all of the attack menus in battle you sometimes get a random chance to activate a limit. Squall performed one with max HP that way!

Here's a good question, how did you win the game without limit breaks? Lionheart is almost essential against the final boss.

I actually was confused about Limits and Boost myself when I first played the game, but then again, I didn't know how to learn abilities in FFIX until Disc Three. :cat:

U kno, if u get rid of all of Rinoa's magic and draw Meteors and if u hav the Limit Break Angel Wing, it will cause the most damage in the game if Rinoa doesn't die...
