In his FF1 site, Dr Unne has this description for Kraken in the boss tips:

"Kraken, Fiend of Water, is a joke. A one-eyed squirrel armed with a piece of wet spaghetti could kill 20 Krakens before it needed to heal itself. Kraken's favorite attack is... DARK! Oh no! Not DARK! Unless you're scared of the Boogey Man, DARK isn't going to cause you any troubles. Kraken's physical attacks should be no problem for you at this point in the game, especially with all the levels you should've gained in the Ice Cave, Castle of Ordeals, and Waterfall."

Some of you may remember an edited FF1 picture with a one-eyed squirrel armed with a piece of wet spaghetti and 20 dead Krakens. I was wondering if anyone still has that picture since I thought it was quite funny?

Kraken kicked my butt. He enjoyed using his very powerful physical attacks on me. Dark? The only darkness my warriors saw was the darkness of DEATH when his TENTACLES hit me repeatedly. Maybe I should have employed that one-eyed squirrel with the spaghetti, it would have made my ordeal easier.

You know I've got the snekiest suspicion that it was me who made said picture. I'll check my posting archive...

...damn, no sign of it. Appologies if I've usurped the work of another, but I seem to remember drawing this picture like years ago (possibly three or four).

That's too bad, that thread has most likely been purged ages ago. How much time do you think it would take for you to edit a pic like that again?

Thanks for remaking that picture! That looks really funny, and the whole concept of a one-eyed squirrel defeating 20 Krakens with a wet spaghetti is quite hilarious. :D

That squirrel could possibly even put Indy to shame. Or perhaps I'm just blaspheming. Probably am. But still, awesome image, Maxx.

It's not that the squirrel pwnz, it's that Kraken is that lame.
