I was searching Google images and found this picture. I have no idea what the original source was since the site was in a foreign language. I honestly don't think that they would come out with a sequal, but i'm still very curious where it came from.

Hmmm, what was the site you found it on? I had found another picture of Rinoa on a foreign site and she looked older, as did Squall. I'll see if I can find a pic of the one I saw.

I read somewhere else just now and if you look closely you can tell its not real. That character looks like Rinoa but its so not from what I can tell. Unless that is Squall and Rinoa's daughter. The logo in the corner is of Griever I know that much :tongue:

I reckon they shouldn't make a sequel, but perhaps remake it! Argh, dunno. I think the FMVs are just right. I don't like them TOO realistic..they looked so good! Unless they make the general graphics like that..but yeah, I want a remake!

Yeah, the graphics aren't nearly as good as the other FF's, but I didn't know if anyone else had come across it or knew anything about the origins. I don't remember the site it was off, but I do remember that it was in a foreign language. The japanese on the side of the pic made me wonder if it had come from a magazine at first (though I did notice it looked like a doll). I'm REALLY glad that it's just fan-art, because the ending didn't really justify a sequel.

If that IS Rinoa, it looks like she really did become a sorceress... with an extra skimpy outfit. Terrible graphics though. Just look at that face. The logo looks tight, and anybody can make up a story about it, but that's what fanfics are for, because nobody's gonna make an FFVIII sequel.

That's not FFVIII art because her lower arm is too manly, Rinoa's eyes there are too small to begin with, and the character's skin tone is very flat. :3

I don't think square did but someone did make a x-2 rinoa for a competition and it was really good so many people mistake it for square art or something.

That's not a sequel, nor was it supposed to be. Somebody just modded the game. You can tell, becuase the graphics are EXACTLY the same, the characters are EXACTLY the same, the moves are EXACTLY the same, and so on.

I got the chocobo game on my PC, the item Friendship calls the moomba. Moomba attack = 9999 max up to your enemy's remaining HP +1, What I'm saying is Moomba can't kill it for you.

-3X Float, triple float, but looks more like an ability..

Could have been a good sequel.

There was a discussion on that video a while ago. Most people thought it was a code you entered to change the characters. I think its cool to see Fujin and Raijin's victory thingy.

Evidently Rinoa is expecting a child with Squall. Squall is stressed out, Rinoa is haveing nightmares, and Seifer has returned as a comrade. There's a new sorceress named Prokylta, her undercover operative Aloin (who is evidently trying to seduce Rinoa) and a bunch of "mysterious" characters. Lets see; Edea and Sid have gone back to the orphanage, Xell is the new directer of Balamb along with Quistis, Irvine is a Colonel in Galbadia and Selphies life was destroyed by some guy named Niko who she's married to?

I'm not sure I want a sequel though. I know I'll be REALLY excited and DEFINETLY buy it, [considering FFVIII is my FAVORITE game :heart: :jess: :D] but I don't want a sequel to ruin the way I feel about the original game. :nonono:

Instead, I think Square should do a remake, or a prequel with us as Laguna on PS2 or PS3. I think that would be SOOO AWESOME!!! :kaohappy2 :thumb:

I think a sequel of FFVIII should only be made if they keep a junction system and old systems the same.

Even as much as I love FFVIII however, I don't think a sequel should be made. I've got the original and all the memories from playing it, don't need a new one coming along and changing my entire outlook on it.

Most of that stuff looks extremely fake to me. Rinoa's head is huge and Squall has no neck. Besides, I remember Square themselves saying that a sequel to FFVIII would be highly unlikely, because there was closure to the first one.

I think that seems like a good idea. I was always interested in Laguna's full story, but then unlike Vincent, alot of things were answered about Laguna. I still don't think that's a bad idea though. It might actually work.

Seriously though, I wouldn't mind a FF VIII compilation, the same way they are doing with FF VII, as long as whatever they do out of it is quality
