Isn't The Lion King a musical?

The only plays I've ever seen have been school plays and those weren't that great. I'd love to see a real professional play one day.

I have seen a few musicals though. I enjoyed Annie get your Gun.

I never had the pleasure of seeing those preformed. Macbeth is a cursed play. Do you know of the Macbeth curse?

There's a really awesome show called "Gamarjobat" -- not Broadway or West End, but these two touring Japanese guys. Pure brilliance. They have this skit called "The Boxer" that totally wowed me.

I like "Educating Rita" and "The Merchant of Venice" (RSC) too. :)

I've never seen anything on Broadway, but I've seen plenty of professional plays, since my parents have been taking me to them since I was about 5 years old. The best play I've ever seen was called the King Stag. It's not my favorite because of the story; the actors, the way it was presented, the wonderful costumes, etc. made it an absolute joy to watch. The greatest (and worst) thing about a play is that it's different every time it's put on.

Non-musical would be Much Ado About Nothing.

Musical would be the Sound of Music.

I believe you. That play is one of the godliest things ever written, and if enacted well -- it'd be astounding.

Death of a Salesman is probably my favourite play. I'm not that fond of musicals, but I rather enjoyed The Producers when I saw it last week. If I had to pick a favourite musical, that would be it.

I really liked Death of a Salesman. It's one of the rare times I've actually gotten into a non-musical.
