Rare Finds

We all know that to us gamers, finding a rare game in a shop, at normal price, is an awesom experience, especailly when its one weve been specifically looking for, or if theres multiple rarities.

Yesterday I found both Castlevania: Circle of the Moon and La Pucelle Tactics.

CoM for $32 and La Pucelle for $110 (NZ money)

The week earlier I found Castlevania: Lament of Innocence for $70

I was quite happy with my finds.

Anyway, what rare titles have you recently found?

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. Granted the case/manual was gone..but just finding the CD was hard, bids go up to 120 bucks online...so i was glad i got it.

X-Com: Enemy Unknown, PS1 version.

I'd spent about seven years looking for a copy.

Only thing I've seen that's rarer is Suikoden.

I found Ikaruga and Beyond Good & Evil for $10 Canadian, each.

I found Skies of Arcadia: Legends for $20 Canadian.

I wouldn't say it was recently, but a bit ago I found Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis for GBA for 25 bucks. I saw it going for 70$ on eBay.

I found Suikoden 1 and 2 at a store for like 20 and 25 respectively. The stupidest thing I've ever done is not buying suikoden 2, cause I wanted to see if I liked the first one. I did and of course had no idea how rare suikoden 2 is, ending up spending 90 on ebay to get it. If only I could find Tactics ogre....

I'm not sure if these are rare, but I found a pack with the two Castlevania games for GBA, brand new, for around 30AUD. I have looked all around Melbourne and Brisbane, and that was the only copy I could find.

It was either earlier this year, or late last year that I found Xenogears in a store for $20. It was a Greatest hits copy, but I wasn't complaining. True, you can buy it cheaper on ebay, but if I can avoid internet shopping, the happier I am.

Well I didnt find this in a store but I talked my co-worker into selling me Tactics Ogre (psx) for 20 Bucks.... Shnugans! But as for games I recently found in stores I found Silhouette Mirage (psx) Legend of Mana (psx) and Alundra (psx). I didnt pay more then $25 each. :choc2:

In other words, I bought the Lament of Innocence for just $9.99, and the Champions of Norrath for $11.99 :)

I will go tomorrow to buy some games at the gamestore in my city, I'll check out for some rare ones :)

Oh, and I know a store in town where I can get Fade to Black, original issue, for the PS1. Almost tempted.
