I had difficult with a couple of the names.

-Tseng
-Heidegger
-Sephiroth
-Bugenhagen
-Elmyra

I pronounce them this way.

T-sang
Hey-degger
Sep-e-rof
Boo-gan-har-gan
L-ma-rar

One of my friends today disputed me on the pronounciation of Sephiroth. So I need some help here.

How you guys pronounce these names? Or others that you struggled with?

I'm pretty sure Tseng is pronounced Shi-own actually. It's a Chinese name, and as such, the pronunciations are a little strange. That and, they pronounce it Shi-own in Advent Children, so I'm pretty sure that's how it's pronounced. My question is, why are you pronouncing the end of Sephiroth with an "f" sound? Shouldn't it be a "th" sound?

Sung
Hi-digg-er
Sef-i-roth
Bu-gen-hagen, exactly how it's spelt.
El-my-ra, exactly how it's spelt.

I don't know how anyone would have trouble pronouncing the last three, they're so obvious.

-Tseng = Tseng.
-Heidegger = Hi-degger
-Sephiroth= Sefiroth
-Bugenhagen= Bugenhagen
-Elmyra= Elmyra

They aren't really hard to pronounce, at least for me.

Se-fi-ros

It's still a 'th' sound at the end there. They use the 's' and 'th' sound interchangeably.

Tseng: Ten-seng (i don't know why, it's just the way i've always pronounced it, probably coz a guy named Tzeng-pronounced that way- climbed Mt.Everest...)
Heidegger: Hi-degger
Sephiroth: Sep-e-roth, or Sef-e-roth
Bugenhagen: Bew-ghen-hay-ghen
Elmyra: El-my-ra

Nibelheim (I always have problems with this): Nib-EL-heim, or Nibbly-ham (depending on my mood)

Wutai is easy, "Wu-thai".

But Nibelheim is definatley a tricky one. I just say "Nibble-Ham" lol.
