Did anyone get annoyed by the fact that enemy human soliders were almost 3x bigger than yourself? It'd be nice if they tried to be semi-realistic and make an enemy solider the same size as your characters.
It's not just the soliders too, alot of monsters are just ridiculously big considering their HP is so low.
I'm glad they corrected this in FF7. (Though they had the advantage of better console)

I think it was due to technical limitations. They couldn't make the playable characters as big and detailed as the enemies, because the playable characters have a lot of animations, while the enemies are just a still.

Then why not make the enemies smaller?

Because it wouldn´t be funny to fight small tiny bosses...i mean for example would you like to fight a mini version of Atma Weapon?

Because that would make them look very boring. I don't really think the small sprites I control look very cool. Maybe funny and cute, though.

I could care less if the enemy sprites are bigger than the character sprites.

They have to be tall to be a soldier... its on the rules of the empire...

And monster are great on that scale... cuz they are monsters... if they were ur scale or a little one... they wouldnt scare ur characters... and Sabin wouldnt scream like a girl :greenie: ...haha... lol...
anyway... i think they are great that way... Y o s h i t a k a Amano its great... dont even think on take his job away... :mad2:
