Its been awhile since we had one of these so here goes....

Mine changes every 5 seconds. Literally, it changes by itself. I have a certain folder with backgrounds in it, from surfing, to Illini, to cars, and all of those cycle or switch randomly and fade to the next picture.

Macs are decent.
