Wow!! Got to this website! There's lots of cool new pictures from the Japanese demo and at the bottom there's a new trailer which may indicate that there's more fmv in the game. :cool:

They should re-title this game to "Final Fantasy III: Nintendo DS' Killer App"! Square has really outdone themselves for this game.

No, those are CG cut scenes. Well the beginning when Dorga was talking was in-game, but mostly cut scenes.

The FMV scenes looked pretty good, and the the choral version of Elia's theme was also quite beautiful. Let's just hope those scenes will be included in the game too.

We don't know yet. It's possible.

Some of the CGs show the characters with certain classes applied to them, making them unlikely to be in the game (unless Squenix made a seperate FMV for every single possible combination of classes, which is not likely).

I really wish that the awesome graphics of the running chocobos and so on were in-game, but then I am doubtful, because in the talking scenes, they use the regular graphics. Must...be...optimistic...

Don't kid yourself. The DS isn't capable of rendering graphics of the quality seen in that FMV in real time.

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw it. I played a couple DS games here and there and none had cutscenes remotely as gorgeous as these.

this game is gonna rock! the FMV is amazing....almost too amazing....ya never know we could be treated to a psp or ps2 realease rather than the DS.....

Even though the in-game graphics don't reach the quality of the FMV graphics, the graphics are still excellent. The battle graphics remind me a lot about FFIX's graphics. I watched the trailer again, and I think it looked really great. I don't know why I said above that there was a choral version of Elia's theme because I don't think there is. The song played on that trailer is the first song on FFIII DS soundtrack. I have that song, and it only has a live orchestra, no choir.
