Best show openings and closings.

What are you favorite show openings/intros (the beginning song that introduces a show) and closings/outros (the end song at the, uh... end, obviously)? They don't necessarily need to be anime intros and outros, but I have a suspicion that those are what most people are going to list.

Anyways, my favorite show openings and closings are the ones from Paranoia Agent or the first opening and closing of FMA.

I like Cowboy Bebop's opening. Family Guy's opening comes in a close second. For closing I'd say Sealab 2020 (or is it 2021 *shrugs*) since it always ends with someone getting blown up. :D

The original Transformers first season opening and closing.......so cool. The 'Cowboy Bebop' opening was pretty awsome too and so was the 'Gunsmith Cats' opening.

I'd have to second Shiny's sentiments on Cowboy Bebop. I saw a parody of the opening for that and, since then, I haven't forgotten that particular opening.

I would have to say the ghost in the shell: SAC (both seasons) intro's and closings were really good. FMA was pretty good to honestly

The Friends opening has always been a favourite of mine. I also think that the Buffy and Angel openings are great, and who can forget the Simpson opening :cool:

My favorite closing is the ending for GANTZ.

Closings: No idea, because the TV cuts to half-screen and has "This is coming up next" over the music, and I skip the credits on DVDs.

For openings, King of Bandit Jing, Final Fantasy Unlimited and Azumangah Daioh are some of my favourites.

For closings, King of Bandit Jing, the second closing of Final Fantasy Unlimited I liked.

I also kinda liked most of the Digimon closings, showing the evolved forms and stuff, some of them looked awesome (For that age anyway >.>)

Anime openings: Eureka 7's 3rd I like the best (Taiyou no Mannaka He), but they're all good
Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, NANA and R.O.D. (TV)'s music are awesome.

As for endings, I really fell in love with 'Hanabi', which is the closing before the one that's on now for Bleach.

I love how anime uses real, existing artists that do other music. I've discovered some great musicians through anime-- Asian Kung Fu Generation, Ikimono Gakari, Tommy Heavenly6, Home Made Kazoku...
