Pokemon Yellow was my first video game ever! Yay, happy times! I'll probably get Peal or Diamond, too, since I liked Silver and Sapphire. The games are better than the show, though. I don't care if peope think Pokemon is too kiddy, I think it's fun.

The first 150 were cool, Pokemon Blue and Red were every kids life, and the TV show with Ash, Brock and Misty which was on really early was also awesome. And dont forget Pokemon cards, which no one played, just collected.

Somehow, it all got butchered, they created more Pokemon, which were all terribly designed, and frankly, not very intresting. The TV show went nowhere and lost intrest in alot of kids, I dont think they play Pokemon in the UK anymore. And the cards were banned everywhere, and people lost intrest once they had bought 1000 packets of Pokemon cards to find one friggin card, leaving them with hundreds of the same Pokemon card. And the games all went samey, the next Pokemon game would be almost exact to the one before, with 2-3 more Pokemon added.

Still, when Pokemon was awesome, it was probably the greatest thing to come from Japan, it got kids into anime, seeing as Pokemon was probably the only anime kids were watching when it was on.

I love the games, although I've only really played Blue, I think I'd most likely get the new DS ones when they come out. I don't like anything else Pokemon, though. Not even the battle games.

I used to. I think it's stupid now. It's the same thing in every game. Run around, level up, and get to the Pokemon League......Blastoise rocks!

As sad as it may be, I very much enjoy Pokemon. I still play it from time to time, even if it has lost its once very popular flare. I've always wondered how games can go from being absolutely loved to suddenly being hated...

Anyone recall the card game when it came out? I still have around 1000 of those stupid things in my attic... Ooo, shiny Blastoise and Bulbasaur... Never got Charizard though...

they have a pokemon crystel for the GBC(game boy color). i left mine in the car and it got stolen right out of the car. after i bought it a weak before. >.> good thing i beat it ^_^ im not so much a pokemon fan as i was before. but my cuz and step sis love it. there always asking me to get thing for then and do stuff for them, damn mochers. lol lucky i love them.
