I was experimenting with PS and played around with the layers and tools a bit to color my drawings and this is what I got for Rinoa and Aerith:

Hmm...

I like the Rinoa one quite a bit, my only technical comment is that her nose appears to be a little big. I always liked Rinoa, so I may be partial...

The Aerith picture only has two things that bothers me, and that is that her hairline seems... odd. The angle seems only slightly off. Other than that, the hair was doen very well. The second point I wish to make is that her left eye is appears to be a little detached from her face. It seems to be too far over when compared to her left eye.

Her body was very well done - I have no qualms with that part of her. The oclours are what they ought to be, and are done well.

I like both of them; however, the Tifa picture kind of got to me because of her eyes, and her eyes only. Her eyes appear soft in the picture you provided, but the one you drew causes her to look very much akin to that of frantic, slightly off-kilter crazed person. The stare is just... eerie...

Other than those technical points, I liked them. They are deserving to be looked at, but can be improved with a few manipulations done to the image.

I look forward to more of your artwork.

your writing is <3333 I love those letters on the pictures:)

with your portrait of tifa, were you following a particular method? I think you were, because it looks similar to the type of stuff we were in art class when first learning portraits, that and it doesn't match up exactly with the reference, so I get the feeling you weren't totally going just by your eyeball:]

Well I'm not very good at drawing likenesses, I always end up with something that doesn't look like the model at all! So I've been trying to find a way to fix that, because I think what makes Tifa not so tifa-like is her face shape and her nose width and length... hmmm... With this drawing though I just drew how I usually do, by sight ^^
Any suggestions?

On the Tifa one, the way you draw eyes and lips really is stunning: the eyes are hypnotic...

I gotta say the Aeris-Anime style one is great. Especially the eyes; they're perfect.
