What do you prefer: prequels, originals, or sequels? (movie wise)

I honestly prefer the original most of the time, usually has the best people for the role (sometimes in sequals they cast a different person than the original for the same part, really stupid). Just curious as to what people prefer.

Usually originals. The only sequal that I thought was really great was Pirates of the Carribean 2.

Well the prequels to the starwars saga are the best prequels ever. But like 85% of movies are originals. So i'd have to say that originals are ussually the most sucsessful.

Origionals. Unless an opening is deliberatly left-and often even then- sequals tend to suck. Horribly. They tend to lose sight of what made the origional good in the first place.

Originals are the best and sequals work in a saga of movies it didnt work for the matrixs they totally messed that up but it worked with a lot of other films like star wars (The Originals) and The Godfather.

Exactly, it depends, because some orginals are bad, some sequels are bad, some prequels are bad. It all depends what movie it is and if it's good, or not.
