I do too.

They are so in love, yet they can never be together...until FFX-2 came around.

I cried a lot, the music, the expressions, the sending, saying goodbye all in the space of five minutes can do something to you.

I did get a bit misty eyed, yes. I think the other scenes that rival it in the emotion level are the Aerith death scene and Squall/Rinoa huggy time.

Of course, this beats 'em all, possibly my favorite FF ending.

It was a powerful scene, but thanks to my Zoloft I made it through ok :mog:

Eitherway, I think the Celes WOR opening scene was more emotional

Although, to be honest, I did stifle a laugh when Yuna fell over. I know, I'm a heartless bastard.

Is it just me, or am I the only person who yelled out "HAHAHAHA YUNA YOU GOT OWNED!" when I first saw this?

No, just me? Okay, to answer the question, no, I didn't come close to crying. Wasn't much to cry about.

I admit it would've been funny, (I think someone mentioned this in another thread) if Yuna fell off the airship when she ran for Tidus. But she didn't, so it was still sad.

I didn't cried but I just feel unhappy Yuna look sad (I don't care about Tidus).

FFX Ending is my favourite ending after FFIX Ending.

Yeah man I totally cried. The second time I saw it, anyway. The first time I shrugged it off, and had a pretty "whatever" attitude towards it. But then I beat it again the next day to watch the ending over, and it was a lot different, for some reason.

I cried so much. But then kinda giggled when she went through him. And then cried again. I liked that ending, but "Suteki de na", or whatever went with it was annoying to me.

I cried a little, but Tidus disappearing wasn't a surprise since they already told you it would happen, but it was still sad. :( I cried more for Kingdom Hearts.

But nothing compares to how I cried to the Final Fantasy VIII ending. I was seriously WEEPING!!! :kaocry: :kaocry2: That will always be my favorite ending... :kaolove2:

I think I agree with Angel wing.My eyes were watery when I watched FF10 ending.When I watched FFVIII man I cried.The music,the scenes,it was a pretty good ending.

This was probably the best FF ending. It was emotional, but I didn't cry.

I did! I couldn't help but laugh at the ending, and not because I'm heartless. I just couldn't help it(albeit I only laughed the second time through, the first I was in shock). FFX-2, now that was something to cry about(although I still liked it, it was disappointing).

It's either the second or the third choice, it depends on my mood and whether I'm just beating the final boss again and watching the ending or whether I've played all the way through the game to see the ending. In the latter case, there's more emotional impact for me. I feel somewhat sad when Auron is sent, and he says his goodbyes to everyone and pats Kimahri, and another sad moment (the one that can make my eyes watery at times) is when Tidus embraces Yuna at the deck of the airship, the camera rotates around them and the beautiful orchestrated version of the Zanarkand theme plays. I think the endings for Final Fantasy IX and Kingdom Hearts were sadder for me, though.

Dynast-Kid

The Zanarkand theme is so beautiful...It made me cry once.

I didn't cry at the end. I also laughed at the same bit that Zeromus did. Have to say it I was thinking when she went through him she was gonna fall off the airship lol.

I actually thought FFVIII was a lil more sad when it shows Laguna and Raine together when Laguna is at her grave in that flashback.

Twilight Edge

My eyes watered.Reaching out to someone but can't even touch them at all, what would you feel if that happened to you?

But seriously, when Laguna flashbacked during the ending of FFVIII and proposed to Raine,I really did cry at that scene.Aeris getting stabbed by Sephy counts even if it wasn't an ending.

For the FFIX ending, since everything turned out so well,I cheered along with the game crowd. The line "I shall pray to the two moons.......bring my beloved Garnet(or whatever you named her) to me!" was classic!!:thumb:

Yeah that part was really sad , and also the part when Rinoa finds Squall and she hugs him and then all the flowers appear...that whole ending was sooo beautiful, and touching!!! In my opinion, Final Fantasy VIII had THE BEST ending out of all of them!!! :kaocry: :kaolove2:

I had watery eyes.. alot of emotional sadness but not so much crying

I think FF X-2 was needed.. cause the ending of ff10 was so damn sad!
i felt empty inside, and emotionally hurt.. yet i didn't want the story to stop no matter how sad it was.. god talk about your sad endings

I love the happy ending of FF10-2 :D except 1 part.... this may be a spoiler: is it just me but did Wakka and Lulu has a baby together, have they been getting it on? lol.. i swear to god i saw a child in Lulu's hands at the ending of ff10-2.. it had wakkas hair!! naughty wakka lol..:greenie:

Well, I must confess... I cried hysterically. Partly because the ending was so sad and partly because I knew the game was over, but then again... I cry every time I beat a game. Never fails.

There's more to love than just kissing. :rolleyes2

It was sad at the end -- mainly because I thought the game was too short, Yuna had lost Tidus, and everyone had lost Auron. :(

Of course they did, that is made abbundently clear throughout the game, hell if you even went to Besaid (which you HAVE to in the 3rd chapter) you'd know that.

I myself didn't cry at the end of FFX,But felt happy yet sad, it was a bit of a shock.

I thought I would end up crying, but only watery eyes came up. It is a very emotional ending. And the whole game building up to a relationship between Tidus and Yuna, only to find that they were torn apart at the end.

For me i get attached to characters. When i play a game I really like, I feel as if I am there. That's why it seems more emotional to me.

YTDN

I only watched my sister play it, but we both ended up crying. In that FMV there are three moments where the waterworks go into overdrive

1. When Yuna falls through Tidus
2. When Yuna says 'I love you' to Tidus
3. When Tidus hugs Yuna.

Also, the music really works. I think if the music hadn't been as good I wouldn't have cried as much.

Here's a question.

Why does Yuna first fall through Tidus and can then hug him later in the FMV.

08-19-2006, 12:49 AM
^ i never thought about that, thats an interesting question. She didn't feel him when he hugged her, i think.

Anyways i was such a cry baby
It was so sad. It was almost heartbreaking when yuna ran through tidus. I was like "NOOOO, stop the madness!!" lol because it was so sad. I loved it when she said she loved him, i wish he would've said it back to yuna  . I think it sadder for some people than others because they really attached to the characters, like me. And the music adds to the sadness. i'm done ranting

lol ya, like sex:D . I didnt cry, though it was butifly put together. I couldent help but think what Tidu's was thinken about tho. Like when Yuna say's I love you and he didn say anything, that basicly says to her " Ya, uh thats nice but uh, ya, well ya see, Rikku's to young.. and I couldent get any from Lulu, so uh ya and you were right there and stuff....and you were pretty easy, so ah man I'l just hug her to make her feel better..." But ya, not cry, like maaaaaaybe alittle watery eyes at the end the 2nd time through the ending

I finished the game about a week ago and I still cry my eyes out if I even hear someone say Tidus, Yuna, Auron or fayth. Tidus and Yuna's love was so strong and then they can't be together? That =
definite tears from me.

I didnt get as watery eyed as i did at the end of VI but i was on the verge. I think if they played the main final fantasy theme (prologue or something) during yuna's speech i wouldve teared up abit.
