So whats the word on this movie, 2 years ago it was announced that The Fly ( David Cronenberg's movie ) would be remade. But not much word since then. Has it been cancelled ?
I personally hope it has been, Cronenbergs movie was a classic Horror/Drama movie, it would be a shame for it to be ruined by this remake. David Cronenberg gave a very negative response to this movie, him being asked who should play the part of Seth Brundle, he said no one, the movie shouldnt be made. Some have said that it was a bad idea from the start, as the movie would be a remake of a remake, by a director ( Todd Lincoln ) who no one has heard of. Technically, Cronenberg's movie wasnt a remake of Vincent Prices movie, but still....
