It is of my opinion that on a day like today, Ice Water is the greatest drink in the world.

Discuss.

Where do you live? It better be in Florida*, otherwise I don't want to hear about how 70 degrees fahrenheit is 'too hot'. I enjoy watching the tourists drop like flies.

And Le Nature's, naturally.

*Or somewhere else notoriously hot in the summertime

Apparently, it's 40-50 degrees celsius in Toronto. I'm only used to 25ish where I live. I don't know how I'll survive there.

Well England has been having days in the mid 90s lately, soo... we're getting pretty hot.

Though I have no idea what Dan's on about. It's been really nice and cool for like a week now.

Its cooled down around here, actually, the last couple of days have been pretty cold...

Zeromus_X
08-06-2006, 05:51 PM
Well, sorry if I seemed uptight. I guess that's reasonably hot, but here in Phoenix it's can normally be upwards of 100 degrees in summer.

Thank goodness for air conditioning and water.

See that's another thing; homes in England very, very rarely have A/C. Stores do, but not houses. So it's a much bigger deal when all you've got is a /xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gifty Ģ5 fan which does sweet F-A to cool you down.

Is Cornwall and Newquay the same place? If so I hope it's really hot there from the 21st of August as I'll be there for a week. :jess:

It's been quite a nice day today here in Essex. There hasn't been a great deal of sun but it's still a nice temperature! I like hot weather. :jess:

Not so bad here in *caugh* Maine. Sunny, but there's a good breeze ^_^ Then again, if I spent the whole day outside, I'd prolly have something different to say . . . The sun can be crule to me fragile flesh T_T

It's about 85F (~30C) here right now. It's a little hot, but bearable. It was like in the 90s all last week and that was a major pain.

rubah
08-06-2006, 07:44 PM
I would be pleased it it would get down to 85

So I am actually easier to laugh at that Dan in terms of living in places worth laughing at =(

In Northwest England its been mildly hot, really horrible and sticky. Grey clouds, and it keeps raining.
The mornings start off blue skies and hot and then grey clouds ruin it :(

It was hot yesterday, I sunburnt/turned pink
